32The peopleהָעָם֙ha.'AmH5971rushedוַיַּ֤עַטvai.ya.'asH5860greedilyH6213upon the spoilהַשָּׁלָ֔לha.sha.lalH7998,and tookוַיִּקְח֨וּvai.yik.ChuH3947sheepצֹ֧אןtzonH6629and oxenוּבָקָ֛רu.va.KarH1241and calvesוּבְנֵ֥י בָקָ֖רu.ve.Nei va.KarH1121 H1241,and slewוַיִּשְׁחֲטוּ־vai.yish.cha.tu-H7819themon the groundאָ֑רְצָה'A.re.tzahH776;and the peopleהָעָ֖םha.'AmH5971ateוַיֹּ֥אכַלvai.Yo.khalH398themwith the bloodהַדָּֽם׃ha.DamH1818.

33Then they toldוַיַּגִּ֤ידוּvai.ya.Gi.duH5046Saulלְשָׁאוּל֙le.sha.'UlH7586,sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559, “Beholdהִנֵּ֥הhi.NehH2009,the peopleהָעָ֛םha.'AmH5971aresinningחֹטִ֥איםcho.TimH2398against the Lordלַֽיהוָ֖הla.Yah.wehH3068by eatingלֶאֱכֹ֣לle.'e.KholH398with the bloodהַדָּ֑םha.DamH1818.”And he saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “You have actedH898treacherouslyבְּגַדְתֶּ֔םbe.gad.TemH898;rollגֹּֽלּוּ־go.lu-H1556a greatגְּדוֹלָֽה׃ge.do.LahH1419stoneאֶ֥בֶן'E.venH68to me todayהַיּ֖וֹםhai.YomH3117.”

34Saulשָׁא֣וּלsha.'UlH7586saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “DisperseH6327yourselvesH6327among the peopleבָעָ֡םva.'AmH5971and sayוַאֲמַרְתֶּ֣םva.'a.mar.TemH559to them, ‘EachH376oneH376of you bringהַגִּ֣ישׁוּha.Gi.shuH5066me his oxשׁוֹר֜וֹsho.RoH7794or his sheepשְׂיֵ֗הוּse.Ye.huH7716,and slaughterוּשְׁחַטְתֶּ֤םu.she.cha.TemH7819ithereבָּזֶה֙ba.ZehH2088and eatוַאֲכַלְתֶּ֔םva.'a.khal.TemH398;and do not sinתֶחֶטְא֥וּte.chet.'UH2398against the Lordלַֽיהוָ֖הla.Yah.wehH3068by eatingלֶאֱכֹ֣לle.'e.KholH398with the bloodהַדָּ֑םha.DamH1818.’”So allכָל־khol-H3605the peopleהָעָ֜םha.'AmH5971that nightהַלַּ֖יְלָהha.Lay.lahH3915broughtוַיַּגִּ֨שׁוּvai.ya.Gi.shuH5066eachH376oneH376his oxשׁוֹר֧וֹsho.RoH7794with him and slaughteredוַיִּשְׁחֲטוּ־vai.yish.cha.tu-H7819itthereשָֽׁם׃ShamH8033.

35AndSaulשָׁא֛וּלsha.'UlH7586builtוַיִּ֧בֶןvai.Yi.venH1129an altarמִזְבֵּ֖חַmiz.Be.achH4196to the Lordלַֽיהוָ֑הla.Yah.wehH3068;it was the firstהֵחֵ֔לhe.ChelH2490altarמִזְבֵּ֖חַmiz.Be.achH4196that he builtלִבְנ֥וֹתliv.NotH1129to the Lordלַֽיהוָֽה׃ פla.Yah.wehH3068.
