Ephesians 1:3-14

3 1Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in 2the heavenly places in Christ, 4just as 3He chose us in Him before 4the foundation of the world, that we would be 5holy and blameless before 6Him. 7In love 5 8He 9predestined us to 10adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, 11according to the 12kind intention of His will, 6 13to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in 14the Beloved. 7 15In 16Him we have 17redemption 18through His blood, the 19forgiveness of our trespasses, according to 20the riches of His grace 8which He 21lavished on 22us. In all wisdom and insight 9He 23 24made known to us the mystery of His will, 25according to His 26kind intention which He 27purposed in Him 10with a view to an administration 28suitable to 29the fullness of the times, that is, 30the summing up of all things in Christ, things 31in the heavens and things on the earth. In Him 11 32also we 33 34have obtained an inheritance, having been 35predestined 36according to His purpose who works all things 37after the counsel of His will, 12to the end that we who were the first to hope in 38Christ would be 39to the praise of His glory. 13In 40Him, you also, after listening to 41the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation--having also 42believed, you were 43sealed in 44Him with 45the Holy Spirit of promise, 14who is 46 47given as a pledge of 48our inheritance, with a view to the 49redemption of 50God’s own possession, 51to the praise of His glory.
