1 Peter 5:4-9

4And when the Chief 1Shepherd appears, you will receive the 2unfading 34crown of glory. 55You younger men, likewise, 6be subject to your elders; and all of you, clothe yourselves with 7humility toward one another, for 8God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.

6Therefore 9humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, 7casting all your 10anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. 811Be of sober spirit, 12be on the alert. Your adversary, 13the devil, prowls around like a roaring 14lion, seeking someone to devour. 91516But resist him, 17firm in your faith, knowing that 18the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your 19brethren who are in the world.
