2Sanctifyקַדֶּשׁ־ka.desh-H6942unto me all the firstbornבְּכ֜וֹרbe.KhorH1060,whatsoever openethפֶּ֤טֶרPe.terH6363the wombרֶ֙חֶם֙re.chemH7358among the childrenבִּבְנֵ֣יbiv.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478, bothof manבָּאָדָ֖םba.'a.DamH120and of beastוּבַבְּהֵמָ֑הu.va.be.he.MahH929: it is mine.

3And Mosesמֹשֶׁ֜הmo.ShehH4872saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto the peopleהָעָ֗םha.'AmH5971,Rememberזָכ֞וֹרza.KhorH2142thisH2088dayהַיּ֤וֹםhai.YomH3117,in which ye came outיְצָאתֶ֤םye.tza.TemH3318from Egyptמִמִּצְרַ֙יִם֙mi.mitz.Ra.yimH4714,out of the houseמִבֵּ֣יתmi.BeitH1004of bondageעֲבָדִ֔ים'a.va.DimH5650;for by strengthבְּחֹ֣זֶקbe.Cho.zekH2392of handיָ֔דYadH3027the Lordיְהֹוָ֛הYah.wehH3068brought you outהוֹצִ֧יאho.Tzi'H3318from this place:there shall no leavened breadחָמֵֽץ׃cha.MetzH2557be eatenיֵאָכֵ֖לye.'a.KhelH398.

4This dayהַיּ֖וֹםhai.YomH3117came ye outיֹצְאִ֑יםyo.tze.'ImH3318in the monthבְּחֹ֖דֶשׁbe.Cho.deshH2320Abibהָאָבִֽיב׃ha.'a.VivH24.

5And it shall be when the Lordיְהוָ֡הYah.wehH3068shall bringיְבִֽיאֲךָ֣ye.vi.'a.KhaH935thee into the landאֶ֣רֶץ'E.retzH776of the Canaanitesהַֽ֠כְּנַעֲנִיHa.ke.na.'a.niH3669,and the Hittitesוְהַחִתִּ֨יve.ha.chi.TiH2850,and the Amoritesוְהָאֱמֹרִ֜יve.ha.'e.mo.RiH567,and the Hivitesוְהַחִוִּ֣יve.ha.chi.ViH2340,and the Jebusitesוְהַיְבוּסִ֗יve.hay.vu.SiH2983,which he swareנִשְׁבַּ֤עnish.Ba'H7650unto thy fathersלַאֲבֹתֶ֙יךָ֙la.'a.vo.Tei.khaH1to giveלָ֣תֶתLa.tetH5414thee, a landאֶ֛רֶץ'E.retzH776flowingזָבַ֥תza.VatH2100with milkחָלָ֖בcha.LavH2461and honeyוּדְבָ֑שׁu.de.VashH1706,that thou shalt keepוְעָבַדְתָּ֛ve.'a.vad.TaH5647this serviceהָעֲבֹדָ֥הha.'a.vo.DahH5656in this monthבַּחֹ֥דֶשׁba.Cho.deshH2320.

6Sevenשִׁבְעַ֥תshiv.'AtH7651daysיָמִ֖יםya.MimH3117thou shalt eatתֹּאכַ֣לto.KhalH398unleavened breadמַצֹּ֑תma.TzotH4682,and in the seventhהַשְּׁבִיעִ֔יha.she.vi.'IH7637dayוּבַיּוֹם֙u.vai.yOmH3117shall bea feastחַ֖גchagH2282to the Lordלַיהוָֽה׃la.Yah.wehH3068.

7Unleavened breadמַצּוֹת֙ma.tzOtH4682shall be eatenיֵֽאָכֵ֔לye.'a.KhelH398sevenשִׁבְעַ֣תshiv.'AtH7651daysהַיָּמִ֑יםhai.ya.MimH3117;and there shall no leavened breadחָמֵ֗ץcha.MetzH2557be seenיֵרָאֶ֨הye.ra.'EhH7200with thee, neither shall there be leavenשְׂאֹ֖רse.'OrH7603seenיֵרָאֶ֥הye.ra.'EhH7200with thee in all thy quartersגְּבֻלֶֽךָ׃ge.vu.Le.khaH1366.

8And thou shalt shewוְהִגַּדְתָּ֣ve.hi.gad.TaH5046thy sonלְבִנְךָ֔le.vin.KhaH1121in that dayבַּיּ֥וֹםbai.YomH3117,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559, This is donebecause ofבַּעֲב֣וּרba.'a.VurH5668thatזֶ֗הZehH2088whichthe Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068didעָשָׂ֤ה'a.SahH6213unto me when I came forthבְּצֵאתִ֖יbe.tze.TiH3318out of Egyptמִמִּצְרָֽיִם׃mi.mitz.Ra.yimH4714.

9And it shall be for a signלְא֜וֹתle.'otH226unto thee upon thine handיָדְךָ֗ya.de.KhaH3027,and for a memorialוּלְזִכָּרוֹן֙u.le.zi.ka.rOnH2146between thine eyesעֵינֶ֔יךָ'ei.Nei.khaH5869,that the Lord’sיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068lawתּוֹרַ֥תto.RatH8451may be in thy mouthבְּפִ֑יךָbe.Fi.khaH6310:for with a strongחֲזָקָ֔הcha.za.KahH2389handבְּיָ֣דbe.YadH3027hath the Lordיְהֹוָ֖הYah.wehH3068brought thee outהוֹצִֽאֲךָ֥ho.tzi.'a.KhaH3318of Egyptמִמִּצְרָֽיִם׃mi.mitz.Ra.yimH4714.

10Thou shalt therefore keepוְשָׁמַרְתָּ֛ve.sha.mar.TaH8104this ordinanceהַחֻקָּ֥הha.chu.KahH2708in his seasonלְמוֹעֲדָ֑הּle.mo.'a.DahH4150from yearמִיָּמִ֖יםmi.ya.MimH3117to yearיָמִֽימָה׃ סya.Mi.mahH3117.

11And it shall be when the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068shall bringיְבִֽאֲךָ֤ye.vi.'a.KhaH935thee into the landאֶ֣רֶץ'E.retzH776of the Canaanitesהַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֔יha.ke.na.'a.NiH3669,as he swareנִשְׁבַּ֥עnish.Ba'H7650unto thee and to thy fathersוְלַֽאֲבֹתֶ֑יךָve.la.'a.vo.Tei.khaH1,and shall giveוּנְתָנָ֖הּu.ne.ta.NahH5414it thee,

12That thou shalt set apartוְהַעֲבַרְתָּ֥ve.ha.'a.var.TaH5674unto the Lordלַֽיהֹוָ֑הla.Yah.wehH3068all that openethפֶּֽטֶר־pe.ter-H6363the matrixרֶ֖חֶםRe.chemH7358,and every firstlingפֶּ֣טֶר׀Pe.terH6363that comethשֶׁ֣גֶרShe.gerH7698of a beastבְּהֵמָ֗הbe.he.MahH929which thou hast; the malesהַזְּכָרִ֖יםha.ze.kha.RimH2145shall bethe Lord’sלַיהוָֽה׃la.Yah.wehH3068.

13And every firstlingפֶּ֤טֶרPe.terH6363of an assחֲמֹר֙cha.MorH2543thou shalt redeemתִּפְדֶּ֣הtif.DehH6299with a lambבְשֶׂ֔הve.SehH7716;and if thou wilt not redeemתִפְדֶּ֖הtif.DehH6299it, then thou shalt break his neckוַעֲרַפְתּ֑וֹva.'a.raf.ToH6202:and all the firstbornבְּכ֥וֹרbe.KhorH1060of manאָדָ֛ם'a.DamH120among thy childrenבְּבָנֶ֖יךָbe.va.Nei.khaH1121shalt thou redeemתִּפְדֶּֽה׃tif.DehH6299.

14And it shall be when thy sonבִנְךָ֛vin.KhaH1121askethיִשְׁאָלְךָ֥yish.'a.le.KhaH7592thee in time to comeמָחָ֖רma.CharH4279,sayingלֵאמֹ֣רle.MorH559, What isthis? that thou shalt sayוְאָמַרְתָּ֣ve.'a.mar.TaH559unto him, By strengthבְּחֹ֣זֶקbe.Cho.zekH2392of handיָ֗דYadH3027the Lordיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068brought us outהוֹצִיאָ֧נוּho.tzi.'A.nuH3318from Egyptמִמִּצְרַ֖יִםmi.mitz.Ra.yimH4714,from the houseמִבֵּ֥יתmi.BeitH1004of bondageעֲבָדִֽים׃'a.va.DimH5650:

16And it shall be for a tokenלְאוֹת֙le.'OtH226upon thine handיָ֣דְכָ֔הya.de.KhahH3027,and for frontletsוּלְטוֹטָפֹ֖תu.le.to.ta.FotH2903between thine eyesעֵינֶ֑יךָ'ei.Nei.khaH5869:for by strengthבְּחֹ֣זֶקbe.Cho.zekH2392of handיָ֔דYadH3027the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068brought us forthהוֹצִיאָ֥נוּho.tzi.'A.nuH3318out of Egyptמִמִּצְרָֽיִם׃ סmi.mitz.Ra.yimH4714.

17And it came to pass, when Pharaohפַּרְעֹה֮par.'OhH6547had let the peopleהָעָם֒ha.'AmH5971goבְּשַׁלַּ֣חbe.sha.LachH7971,that Godאֱלֹהִ֗ים'E.lo.HimH430ledנָחָ֣םna.ChamH5148them not throughthe wayדֶּ֚רֶךְDe.rekhH1870of the landאֶ֣רֶץ'E.retzH776of the Philistinesפְּלִשְׁתִּ֔יםpe.lish.TimH6430,althoughH3588that wasnearקָר֖וֹבka.RovH7138;for Godאֱלֹהִ֗ים'E.lo.HimH430saidאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559,Lest peradventure the peopleהָעָ֛םha.'AmH5971repentיִנָּחֵ֥םyi.na.ChemH5162when they seeבִּרְאֹתָ֥םbir.'o.TamH7200warמִלְחָמָ֖הmil.cha.MahH4421,and they returnוְשָׁ֥בוּve.Sha.vuH7725to Egyptמִצְרָֽיְמָה׃mitz.Ra.ye.mahH4714:

19And Mosesמֹשֶׁ֛הmo.ShehH4872tookוַיִּקַּ֥חvai.yi.KachH3947the bonesעַצְמ֥וֹתatz.MotH6106of Josephיוֹסֵ֖ףyo.SefH3130with him: for he had straitlyהַשְׁבֵּ֨עַhash.Be.a'H7650swornהִשְׁבִּ֜יעַhish.Bi.a'H7650the childrenבְּנֵ֤יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478,sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559,Godאֱלֹהִים֙'E.lo.HimH430will surelyפָּקֹ֨דpa.KodH6485visitיִפְקֹ֤דyif.KodH6485you; and ye shall carry upH5927my bonesעַצְמֹתַ֛י'atz.mo.TaiH6106awayH5927hence with you.
