2On the firstהָרִאשׁ֖וֹןha.ri.ShonH7223dayבְּיוֹם־be.yom-H3117of the firstבְּאֶחָ֣דbe.'e.ChadH259monthH2320shalt thou set upתָּקִ֕יםta.KimH6965the tabernacleמִשְׁכַּ֖ןmish.KanH4908of the tentאֹ֥הֶל'O.helH168of the congregationמוֹעֵֽד׃mo.'EdH4150.

3And thou shalt putוְשַׂמְתָּ֣ve.sam.TaH7760thereinשָׁ֔םShamH8033the arkאֲר֣וֹן'a.RonH727of the testimonyהָעֵד֑וּתha.'e.DutH5715,and coverוְסַכֹּתָ֥ve.sa.ko.TaH5526the arkהָאָרֹ֖ןha.'a.RonH727with the vailהַפָּרֹֽכֶת׃ha.pa.Ro.khetH6532.

4And thou shalt bringוְהֵבֵאתָ֙ve.he.ve.TaH935in the tableהַשֻּׁלְחָ֔ןha.shul.ChanH7979,and set in orderוְעָרַכְתָּ֖ve.'a.rakh.TaH6186the things that are to be set in orderעֶרְכּ֑וֹer.KoH6187upon it; and thou shalt bringוְהֵבֵאתָ֙ve.he.ve.TaH935in the candlestickהַמְּנֹרָ֔הha.me.no.RahH4501,and lightוְהַעֲלֵיתָ֖ve.ha.'a.lei.TaH5927the lampsנֵרֹתֶֽיהָ׃ne.ro.Tei.haH5216thereof.

5And thou shalt setוְנָתַתָּ֞הve.na.ta.TahH5414the altarמִזְבַּ֤חmiz.BachH4196of goldהַזָּהָב֙ha.za.HavH2091for the incenseלִקְטֹ֔רֶתlik.To.retH7004beforeלִפְנֵ֖יlif.NeiH6440the arkאֲר֣וֹן'a.RonH727of the testimonyהָעֵדֻ֑תha.'e.DutH5715,and putוְשַׂמְתָּ֛ve.sam.TaH7760the hangingמָסַ֥ךְma.SakhH4539of the doorהַפֶּ֖תַחha.Pe.tachH6607to the tabernacleלַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃la.mish.KanH4908.

6And thou shalt setוְנָ֣תַתָּ֔הve.Na.ta.TahH5414the altarמִזְבַּ֣חmiz.BachH4196of the burnt offeringהָעֹלָ֑הha.'o.LahH5930beforeלִפְנֵ֕יlif.NeiH6440the doorפֶּ֖תַחPe.tachH6607of the tabernacleמִשְׁכַּ֥ןmish.KanH4908of the tentאֹֽהֶל־'o.hel-H168of the congregationמוֹעֵֽד׃mo.'EdH4150.

7And thou shalt setוְנָֽתַתָּ֙ve.na.ta.TaH5414the laverהַכִּיֹּ֔רha.ki.YorH3595between the tentאֹ֥הֶל'O.helH168of the congregationמוֹעֵ֖דmo.'EdH4150and the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַha.miz.Be.achH4196,and shalt putוְנָתַתָּ֥ve.na.ta.TaH5414waterמָֽיִם׃Ma.yimH4325therein.

8And thou shalt set upוְשַׂמְתָּ֥ve.sam.TaH7760the courtהֶחָצֵ֖רhe.cha.TzerH2691round aboutסָבִ֑יבsa.VivH5439,and hang upוְנָ֣תַתָּ֔ve.Na.ta.taH5414the hangingמָסַ֖ךְma.SakhH4539at the courtהֶחָצֵֽר׃he.cha.TzerH2691gateשַׁ֥עַרSha.'arH8179.

9And thou shalt takeוְלָקַחְתָּ֙ve.la.kach.TaH3947the anointingהַמִּשְׁחָ֔הha.mish.ChahH4888oilשֶׁ֣מֶןShe.menH8081,and anointוּמָשַׁחְתָּ֥u.ma.shach.TaH4886the tabernacleהַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ןha.mish.KanH4908, and all that istherein, and shalt hallowוְקִדַּשְׁתָּ֥ve.ki.dash.TaH6942it, and all the vesselsכֵּלָ֖יוke.LavH3627thereof: and it shall be holyקֹֽדֶשׁ׃Ko.deshH6944.

10And thou shalt anointוּמָשַׁחְתָּ֛u.ma.shach.TaH4886the altarמִזְבַּ֥חmiz.BachH4196of the burnt offeringהָעֹלָ֖הha.'o.LahH5930,and all his vesselsכֵּלָ֑יוke.LavH3627,and sanctifyוְקִדַּשְׁתָּ֙ve.ki.dash.TaH6942the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַha.miz.Be.achH4196:and it shall be an altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַha.miz.Be.achH4196mostקֹ֥דֶשׁKo.deshH6944holyקָֽדָשִֽׁים׃Ka.da.ShimH6944.

11And thou shalt anointוּמָשַׁחְתָּ֥u.ma.shach.TaH4886the laverהַכִּיֹּ֖רha.ki.YorH3595and his footכַּנּ֑וֹka.NoH3653,and sanctifyוְקִדַּשְׁתָּ֖ve.ki.dash.TaH6942it.

12And thou shalt bringוְהִקְרַבְתָּ֤ve.hik.rav.TaH7126Aaronאַהֲרֹן֙'a.ha.RonH175and his sonsבָּנָ֔יוba.NavH1121unto the doorפֶּ֖תַחPe.tachH6607of the tabernacleאֹ֣הֶל'O.helH168of the congregationמוֹעֵ֑דmo.'EdH4150,and washוְרָחַצְתָּ֥ve.ra.chatz.TaH7364them with waterבַּמָּֽיִם׃ba.Ma.yimH4325.

13And thou shalt putוְהִלְבַּשְׁתָּ֙ve.hil.bash.TaH3847upon Aaronאַהֲרֹ֔ן'a.ha.RonH175the holyהַקֹּ֑דֶשׁha.Ko.deshH6944garmentsבִּגְדֵ֣יbig.DeiH899,and anointוּמָשַׁחְתָּ֥u.ma.shach.TaH4886him, and sanctifyוְקִדַּשְׁתָּ֥ve.ki.dash.TaH6942him; that he may minister unto me in the priest’s officeוְכִהֵ֥ןve.khi.HenH3547.

14And thou shalt bringתַּקְרִ֑יבtak.RivH7126his sonsבָּנָ֖יוba.NavH1121,and clotheוְהִלְבַּשְׁתָּ֥ve.hil.bash.TaH3847them with coatsכֻּתֳּנֹֽת׃ku.to.NotH3801:

15And thou shalt anointוּמָשַׁחְתָּ֣u.ma.shach.TaH4886them, as thou didst anointמָשַׁ֙חְתָּ֙ma.Shach.taH4886their fatherאֲבִיהֶ֔ם'a.vi.HemH1,that they may minister unto me in the priest’s officeוְכִהֲנ֖וּve.khi.ha.NuH3547:for their anointingמָשְׁחָתָ֛םma.she.cha.TamH4888shall surely be an everlastingעוֹלָ֖םo.LamH5769priesthoodלִכְהֻנַּ֥תlikh.hu.NatH3550throughout their generationsלְדֹרֹתָֽם׃le.do.ro.TamH1755.

16Thus didוַיַּ֖עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213Mosesמֹשֶׁ֑הmo.ShehH4872:according to all that the Lordיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068commandedצִוָּ֧הtzi.VahH6680him, so didעָשָֽׂה׃ ס'a.SahH6213he.

17And it came to pass in the firstהָרִאשׁ֛וֹןha.ri.ShonH7223monthבַּחֹ֧דֶשׁba.Cho.deshH2320in the secondהַשֵּׁנִ֖יתha.she.NitH8145yearבַּשָּׁנָ֥הba.sha.NahH8141,on the firstבְּאֶחָ֣דbe.'e.ChadH259dayof the monthלַחֹ֑דֶשׁla.Cho.deshH2320, thatthe tabernacleהַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃ha.mish.KanH4908was reared upהוּקַ֖םhu.KamH6965.

18And Mosesמֹשֶׁ֜הmo.ShehH4872reared upוַיָּ֨קֶםvai.Ya.kemH6965the tabernacleהַמִּשְׁכָּ֗ןha.mish.KanH4908,and fastenedוַיִּתֵּן֙vai.yi.TenH5414his socketsאֲדָנָ֔יו'a.da.NavH134,and set upוַיָּ֙שֶׂם֙vai.Ya.semH7760the boardsקְרָשָׁ֔יוke.ra.ShavH7175thereof, and putוַיִּתֵּ֖ןvai.yi.TenH5414in the barsבְּרִיחָ֑יוbe.ri.ChavH1280thereof, and reared upוַיָּ֖קֶםvai.Ya.kemH6965his pillarsעַמּוּדָֽיו׃'a.mu.DavH5982.

19And he spread abroadוַיִּפְרֹ֤שׂvai.yif.RosH6566the tentהָאֹ֙הֶל֙ha.'O.helH168over the tabernacleהַמִּשְׁכָּ֔ןha.mish.KanH4908,and putוַיָּ֜שֶׂםvai.Ya.semH7760the coveringמִכְסֵ֥הmikh.SehH4372of the tentהָאֹ֛הֶלha.'O.helH168aboveמִלְמָ֑עְלָהmil.Ma.'e.lahH4605upon it; as the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068commandedצִוָּ֥הtzi.VahH6680Mosesמֹשֶֽׁה׃ סmo.ShehH4872.

20And he tookוַיִּקַּ֞חvai.yi.KachH3947and putוַיִּתֵּ֤ןvai.yi.TenH5414the testimonyהָעֵדֻת֙ha.'e.DutH5715into the arkהָ֣אָרֹ֔ןha.'a.RonH727,and setוַיָּ֥שֶׂםvai.Ya.semH7760the stavesהַבַּדִּ֖יםha.ba.DimH905on the arkהָאָרֹ֑ןha.'a.RonH727,and putוַיִּתֵּ֧ןvai.yi.TenH5414the mercy seatהַכַּפֹּ֛רֶתha.ka.Po.retH3727aboveמִלְמָֽעְלָה׃mil.Ma.'e.lahH4605upon the arkהָאָרֹ֖ןha.'a.RonH727:

21And he broughtוַיָּבֵ֣אvai.ya.Ve'H935the arkהָאָרֹן֮ha.'a.RonH727into the tabernacleהַמִּשְׁכָּן֒ha.mish.KanH4908,and set upוַיָּ֗שֶׂםvai.Ya.semH7760the vailפָּרֹ֣כֶתpa.Ro.khetH6532of the coveringהַמָּסָ֔ךְha.ma.SakhH4539,and coveredוַיָּ֕סֶךְvai.Ya.sekhH5526the arkאֲר֣וֹן'a.RonH727of the testimonyהָעֵד֑וּתha.'e.DutH5715;as the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068commandedצִוָּ֥הtzi.VahH6680Mosesמֹשֶֽׁה׃ סmo.ShehH4872.

22And he putוַיִּתֵּ֤ןvai.yi.TenH5414the tableהַשֻּׁלְחָן֙ha.shul.ChanH7979in the tentבְּאֹ֣הֶלbe.'O.helH168of the congregationמוֹעֵ֔דmo.'EdH4150,upon the sideיֶ֥רֶךְYe.rekhH3409of the tabernacleהַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ןha.mish.KanH4908northwardצָפֹ֑נָהtza.Fo.nahH6828,withoutמִח֖וּץmi.ChutzH2351the vailלַפָּרֹֽכֶת׃la.pa.Ro.khetH6532.

23And he setעֵ֥רֶךְ'E.rekhH6187the breadלֶ֖חֶםLe.chemH3899in orderוַיַּעֲרֹ֥ךְvai.ya.'a.RokhH6186upon it beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068;as the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068had commandedצִוָּ֥הtzi.VahH6680Mosesמֹשֶֽׁה׃ סmo.ShehH4872.

24And he putוַיָּ֤שֶׂםvai.Ya.semH7760the candlestickהַמְּנֹרָה֙ha.me.no.RahH4501in the tentבְּאֹ֣הֶלbe.'O.helH168of the congregationמוֹעֵ֔דmo.'EdH4150,over againstנֹ֖כַחNo.khachH5227the tableהַשֻּׁלְחָ֑ןha.shul.ChanH7979,on the sideיֶ֥רֶךְYe.rekhH3409of the tabernacleהַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ןha.mish.KanH4908southwardנֶֽגְבָּה׃Neg.bahH5045.

25And he lightedוַיַּ֥עַלvai.Ya.'alH5927the lampsהַנֵּרֹ֖תha.ne.RotH5216beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068;as the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068commandedצִוָּ֥הtzi.VahH6680Mosesמֹשֶֽׁה׃ סmo.ShehH4872.

26And he putוַיָּ֛שֶׂםvai.Ya.semH7760the goldenהַזָּהָ֖בha.za.HavH2091altarמִזְבַּ֥חmiz.BachH4196in the tentבְּאֹ֣הֶלbe.'O.helH168of the congregationמוֹעֵ֑דmo.'EdH4150beforeלִפְנֵ֖יlif.NeiH6440the vailהַפָּרֹֽכֶת׃ha.pa.Ro.khetH6532:

27And he burntוַיַּקְטֵ֥רvai.yak.TerH6999sweetסַמִּ֑יםsa.MimH5561incenseקְטֹ֣רֶתke.To.retH7004thereon; as the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068commandedצִוָּ֥הtzi.VahH6680Mosesמֹשֶֽׁה׃ פmo.ShehH4872.

28And he set upוַיָּ֛שֶׂםvai.Ya.semH7760the hangingמָסַ֥ךְma.SakhH4539atthe doorהַפֶּ֖תַחha.Pe.tachH6607of the tabernacleלַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃la.mish.KanH4908.

29And he putשָׂ֕םsamH7760the altarמִזְבַּ֣חmiz.BachH4196of burnt offeringהָעֹלָ֔הha.'o.LahH5930bythe doorפֶּ֖תַחPe.tachH6607of the tabernacleמִשְׁכַּ֣ןmish.KanH4908of the tentאֹֽהֶל־'o.hel-H168of the congregationמוֹעֵ֑דmo.'EdH4150,and offeredוַיַּ֣עַלvai.Ya.'alH5927upon it the burnt offeringהָעֹלָה֙ha.'o.LahH5930and the meat offeringהַמִּנְחָ֔הha.min.ChahH4503;as the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068commandedצִוָּ֥הtzi.VahH6680Mosesמֹשֶֽׁה׃ סmo.ShehH4872.

30And he setוַיָּ֙שֶׂם֙vai.Ya.semH7760the laverהַכִּיֹּ֔רha.ki.YorH3595between the tentאֹ֥הֶל'O.helH168of the congregationמוֹעֵ֖דmo.'EdH4150and the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַha.miz.Be.achH4196,and putוַיִּתֵּ֥ןvai.yi.TenH5414waterמַ֖יִםMa.yimH4325there, to washלְרָחְצָֽה׃le.ra.che.TzahH7364withal.

31And Mosesמֹשֶׁ֖הmo.ShehH4872and Aaronוְאַהֲרֹ֣ןve.'a.ha.RonH175and his sonsוּבָנָ֑יוu.va.NavH1121washedוְרָחֲצ֣וּve.ra.cha.TzuH7364their handsיְדֵיהֶ֖םye.dei.HemH3027and their feetרַגְלֵיהֶֽם׃rag.lei.HemH7272thereat:

32When they wentבְּבֹאָ֞םbe.vo.'AmH935into the tentאֹ֣הֶל'O.helH168of the congregationמוֹעֵ֗דmo.'EdH4150,and when they came nearוּבְקָרְבָתָ֛םu.ve.ka.re.va.TamH7126unto the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַha.miz.Be.achH4196,they washedיִרְחָ֑צוּyir.Cha.tzuH7364;as the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068commandedצִוָּ֥הtzi.VahH6680Mosesמֹשֶֽׁה׃ סmo.ShehH4872.

33And he reared upוַיָּ֣קֶםvai.Ya.kemH6965the courtהֶחָצֵ֗רhe.cha.TzerH2691round aboutסָבִיב֙sa.VivH5439the tabernacleלַמִּשְׁכָּ֣ןla.mish.KanH4908and the altarוְלַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַve.la.miz.Be.achH4196,and set upוַיִּתֵּ֕ןvai.yi.TenH5414the hangingמָסַ֖ךְma.SakhH4539of the courtהֶחָצֵ֑רhe.cha.TzerH2691gateשַׁ֣עַרSha.'arH8179.So Mosesמֹשֶׁ֖הmo.ShehH4872finishedוַיְכַ֥לvay.KhalH3615the workהַמְּלָאכָֽה׃ פha.me.la.KhahH4399.

34Then a cloudהֶעָנָ֖ןhe.'a.NanH6051coveredוַיְכַ֥סvay.KhasH3680the tentאֹ֣הֶל'O.helH168of the congregationמוֹעֵ֑דmo.'EdH4150,and the gloryוּכְב֣וֹדu.khe.VodH3519of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068filledמָלֵ֖אma.Le'H4390the tabernacleהַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃ha.mish.KanH4908.

35And Mosesמֹשֶׁ֗הmo.ShehH4872was not ableיָכֹ֣לya.KholH3201to enterלָבוֹא֙la.Vo'H935into the tentאֹ֣הֶל'O.helH168of the congregationמוֹעֵ֔דmo.'EdH4150,because the cloudהֶעָנָ֑ןhe.'a.NanH6051abodeשָׁכַ֥ןsha.KhanH7931thereon, and the gloryוּכְב֣וֹדu.khe.VodH3519of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068filledמָלֵ֖אma.Le'H4390the tabernacleהַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃ha.mish.KanH4908.

36And when the cloudהֶֽעָנָן֙he.'a.NanH6051was taken upוּבְהֵעָל֤וֹתu.ve.he.'a.LotH5927fromמֵעַ֣לme.'AlH5921over the tabernacleהַמִּשְׁכָּ֔ןha.mish.KanH4908,the childrenבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478went onwardיִסְע֖וּyis.'UH5265in all their journeysמַסְעֵיהֶֽם׃mas.'ei.HemH4550:

37But if the cloudהֶעָנָ֑ןhe.'a.NanH6051were not taken upיֵעָלֶ֖הye.'a.LehH5927,then they journeyedיִסְע֔וּyis.'UH5265not till the dayי֖וֹםYomH3117that it was taken upהֵעָלֹתֽוֹ׃he.'a.lo.ToH5927.

38For the cloudעֲנַ֨ן'a.NanH6051of the Lordיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068wasupon the tabernacleהַמִּשְׁכָּן֙ha.mish.KanH4908by dayיוֹמָ֔םyo.MamH3119,and fireוְאֵ֕שׁve.'EshH784was on it by nightלַ֖יְלָהLay.lahH3915,in the sightלְעֵינֵ֥יle.'ei.NeiH5869of all the houseבֵּֽית־beit-H1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478,throughout all their journeysמַסְעֵיהֶֽם׃mas.'ei.HemH4550.
