26And as forH413the kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Judahיְהוּדָ֗הye.hu.DahH3063,who sentהַשֹּׁלֵ֤חַha.sho.Le.achH7971you to enquireלִדְר֣וֹשׁlid.Ro.oshH1875of the Lordבַּֽיהוָ֔הba.Yah.wehH3068,so shall ye sayתֹאמְר֖וּto.me.RuH559unto him, Thus saithאָמַ֤ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478concerningthe wordsהַדְּבָרִ֖יםha.de.va.RimH1697which thou hast heardשָׁמָֽעְתָּ׃sha.Ma.'e.taH8085;

27Because thine heartלְבָ֨בְךָ֜le.Va.ve.khaH3824was tenderרַךְ־rakh-H7401,and thou didst humbleוַתִּכָּנַ֣ע׀va.ti.ka.Na'H3665thyself beforeמִלִּפְנֵ֣יmi.lif.NeiH6440Godאֱלֹהִ֗ים'E.lo.HimH430,when thou heardestבְּשָׁמְעֲךָ֤be.sha.me.'a.KhaH8085his wordsדְּבָרָיו֙de.va.RavH1697against this placeהַמָּק֤וֹםha.ma.KomH4725,and against the inhabitantsיֹ֣שְׁבָ֔יוyo.she.VavH3427thereof, and humbledstוַתִּכָּנַ֣עva.ti.ka.Na'H3665thyself beforeלְפָנַ֔יle.fa.NaiH6440me, and didst rendוַתִּקְרַ֥עva.tik.Ra'H7167thy clothesבְּגָדֶ֖יךָbe.ga.Dei.khaH899,and weepוַתֵּ֣בְךְּva.Te.vekH1058beforeלְפָנָ֑יle.fa.NaiH6440me; I have even heardשָׁמַ֖עְתִּיsha.Ma'.tiH8085theealso, saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

28Behold, I will gatherאֹֽסִפְךָ֜'o.sif.KhaH622thee to thy fathersאֲבֹתֶ֗יךָ'a.vo.Tei.khaH1,and thou shalt be gatheredוְנֶאֱסַפְתָּ֣ve.ne.'e.saf.TaH622to thy graveקִבְרֹתֶיךָ֮kiv.ro.tei.ChaH6913in peaceבְּשָׁלוֹם֒be.sha.lOmH7965,neither shall thine eyesעֵינֶ֔יךָ'ei.Nei.khaH5869seeתִרְאֶ֣ינָהtir.'Ei.nahH7200all the evilהָֽרָעָ֔הha.ra.'AhH7451that I will bringמֵבִ֛יאme.Vi'H935upon this placeהַמָּק֥וֹםha.ma.KomH4725,and upon the inhabitantsיֹשְׁבָ֑יוyo.she.VavH3427of the same. So they broughtH7725the kingהַמֶּ֖לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428wordדָּבָֽר׃ פda.VarH1697againH7725.

29Then the kingהַמֶּ֑לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428sentוַיִּשְׁלַ֖חvai.yish.LachH7971and gathered togetherוַיֶּאֱסֹ֕ףvai.ye.'e.SofH622all the eldersזִקְנֵ֥יzik.NeiH2205of Judahיְהוּדָ֖הye.hu.DahH3063and Jerusalemוִירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃vi.ru.sha.LimH3389.

30And the kingהַמֶּ֣לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428went upוַיַּ֣עַלvai.Ya.'alH5927into the houseבֵּית־beit-H1004of the Lordיְ֠הוָהYah.wehH3068,and all the menאִ֨ישׁ'ishH376of Judahיְהוּדָ֜הye.hu.DahH3063,and the inhabitantsוְיֹשְׁבֵ֣יve.yo.she.VeiH3427of Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֗םye.ru.sha.LimH3389,and the priestsוְהַכֹּֽהֲנִים֙ve.ha.ko.ha.NimH3548,and the Levitesוְהַלְוִיִּ֔םve.hal.vi.YimH3881,and all the peopleהָעָ֖םha.'AmH5971,greatמִגָּד֣וֹלmi.ga.DolH1419and smallקָטָ֑ןka.TanH6996:and he readוַיִּקְרָ֣אvai.yik.Ra'H7121in their earsבְאָזְנֵיהֶ֗םve.'a.ze.nei.HemH241all the wordsדִּבְרֵי֙div.ReiH1697of the bookסֵ֣פֶרSe.ferH5612of the covenantהַבְּרִ֔יתha.be.RitH1285that was foundהַנִּמְצָ֖אha.nim.Tza'H4672in the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

31And the kingהַמֶּ֜לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428stoodוַיַּעֲמֹ֨דvai.ya.'a.ModH5975in his placeעָמְד֗וֹa.me.DoH5977,and madeוַיִּכְרֹ֣תvai.yikh.RotH3772a covenantהַבְּרִית֮ha.be.RitH1285beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440the Lordיְהוָה֒Yah.wehH3068,to walkH3212afterאַחֲרֵ֣י'a.cha.ReiH310the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068,and to keepוְלִשְׁמ֤וֹרve.lish.MorH8104his commandmentsמִצְוֹתָיו֙mitz.vo.TavH4687,and his testimoniesוְעֵֽדְוֹתָ֣יוve.'e.de.vo.TavH5715,and his statutesוְחֻקָּ֔יוve.chu.KavH2706,with all his heartלְבָב֖וֹle.va.VoH3824,and with all his soulנַפְשׁ֑וֹnaf.ShoH5315,to performלַעֲשׂוֹת֙la.'a.sOtH6213the wordsדִּבְרֵ֣יdiv.ReiH1697of the covenantהַבְּרִ֔יתha.be.RitH1285which are writtenהַכְּתוּבִ֖יםha.ke.tu.VimH3789in this bookהַסֵּ֥פֶרha.Se.ferH5612.

32And he caused all that were presentהַנִּמְצָ֥אha.nim.Tza'H4672in Jerusalemבִירוּשָׁלִַ֖םvi.ru.sha.LimH3389and Benjaminוּבִנְיָמִ֑ןu.vin.ya.MinH1144to standוַיַּעֲמֵ֕דvai.ya.'a.MedH5975to it.And the inhabitantsיֹשְׁבֵ֣יyo.she.VeiH3427of Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֔םye.ru.sha.LimH3389didוַֽיַּעֲשׂוּ֙vai.ya.'a.SuH6213according to the covenantכִּבְרִ֥יתkiv.RitH1285of Godאֱלֹהִ֖ים'E.lo.HimH430,the Godאֱלֹהֵ֥י'e.lo.HeiH430of their fathersאֲבוֹתֵיהֶֽם׃'a.vo.tei.HemH1.

33And Josiahיֹֽאשִׁיָּ֜הוּyo.shi.Ya.huH2977took awayוַיָּ֨סַרvai.Ya.sarH5493all the abominationsהַתּוֹעֵב֗וֹתha.to.'e.VotH8441out of all the countriesהָאֲרָצוֹת֮ha.'a.ra.tzOtH776that pertainedto the childrenלִבְנֵ֣יliv.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֒Yis.ra.'ElH3478,and made all that were presentהַנִּמְצָא֙ha.nim.Tza'H4672in Israelבְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לbe.Yis.ra.'ElH3478to serveוַֽיַּעֲבֵ֗דvai.ya.'a.VedH5647, evento serveלַעֲב֖וֹדla.'a.VodH5647the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068their Godאֱלֹהֵיהֶ֑ם'e.lo.hei.HemH430. Andall his daysיָמָ֕יוya.MavH3117they departedסָ֔רוּSa.ruH5493not from followingמֵֽאַחֲרֵ֕יme.'a.cha.ReiH310the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,the Godאֱלֹהֵ֥י'e.lo.HeiH430of their fathersאֲבוֹתֵיהֶֽם׃ פ'a.vo.tei.HemH1.
