2And SolomonH8010told outוַיִּסְפֹּ֨רvai.yis.PorH5608threescore and tenשִׁבְעִ֥יםshiv.'ImH7657thousandאֶ֙לֶף֙'e.lefH505menאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376to bear burdensסַבָּ֔לsa.BalH5449,and fourscoreוּשְׁמוֹנִ֥יםu.she.mo.NimH8084thousandאֶ֛לֶף אִ֖ישׁ'E.lef 'ishH376 H505to hewחֹצֵ֣בcho.TzevH2672in the mountainבָּהָ֑רba.HarH2022,and threeשְׁלֹ֥שֶׁתshe.Lo.shetH7969thousandאֲלָפִ֖ים'a.la.FimH505and sixוְשֵׁ֥שׁve.SheshH8337hundredמֵאֽוֹת׃ פme.'otH3967to overseeוּמְנַצְּחִ֣יםu.me.na.tze.ChimH5329them.

3And Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֔הshe.lo.MohH8010sentוַיִּשְׁלַ֣חvai.yish.LachH7971to Huramחוּרָ֥םchu.RamH2361the kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Tyreצֹ֖רtzorH6865,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559,As thou didst dealעָשִׂ֙יתָ֙'a.Si.taH6213with Davidדָּוִ֣ידda.VidH1732my fatherאָבִ֔י'a.ViH1,and didst sendוַתִּֽשְׁלַֽח־va.tish.lach-H7971him cedarsאֲרָזִ֔ים'a.ra.ZimH730to buildH1129him an houseH1004to dwellלָשֶׁ֥בֶתla.She.vetH3427therein, even so deal with me.

4Behold, I buildH1129an houseH1004to the nameלְשֵׁ֣ם׀le.ShemH8034of the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068my GodH430,to dedicateלְהַקְדִּ֣ישׁle.hak.DishH6942it to him, andto burnלְהַקְטִ֣ירle.hak.TirH6999beforeלְפָנָ֣יוle.fa.NavH6440him sweetסַמִּים֩sa.MimH5561incenseקְטֹֽרֶת־ke.to.ret-H7004,and for the continualתָּמִ֤ידta.MidH8548shewbreadוּמַעֲרֶ֨כֶתu.ma.'a.Re.khetH4635,and for the burnt offeringsוְעֹלוֹת֙ve.'o.lOtH5930morningלַבֹּ֣קֶרla.Bo.kerH1242and eveningוְלָעֶ֔רֶבve.la.'E.revH6153,on the sabbathsלַשַּׁבָּתוֹת֙la.sha.ba.tOtH7676,and on the new moonsוְלֶ֣חֳדָשִׁ֔יםve.Le.cho.da.ShimH2320,and on the solemn feastsוּֽלְמוֹעֲדֵ֖יu.le.mo.'a.DeiH4150of the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068our GodH430. This is an ordinancefor everלְעוֹלָ֖םle.'o.LamH5769to Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.

5And the houseH1004which I buildH1129isgreatגָּד֑וֹלga.DolH1419:for greatגָד֥וֹלga.DolH1419isour Godאֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ'e.lo.Hei.nuH430above all godsהָאֱלֹהִֽים׃ha.'E.lo.HimH430.

6But who is ableיַעֲצָר־ כֹּ֙חַ֙ya.'a.tzor- ko.achH3581 H6113to buildלִבְנֽוֹת־Liv.not-H1129him an houseבַ֔יִתVa.yitH1004,seeing the heavenהַשָּׁמַ֛יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064and heavenוּשְׁמֵ֥יu.she.MeiH8064of heavensהַשָּׁמַ֖יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064cannot containיְכַלְכְּלֻ֑הוּye.khal.ke.Lu.huH3557him? who amI then, that I should buildאֶבְנֶה־'ev.neh-H1129him an houseבַ֔יִתVa.yitH1004,save onlyאִם־'im-H518to burn sacrificeלְהַקְטִ֥ירle.hak.TirH6999beforeלְפָנָֽיו׃le.fa.NavH6440him?

7SendH7971me now therefore a manאִישׁ־'ish-H376cunningחָכָ֡םcha.KhamH2450to workלַעֲשׂוֹת֩la.'a.sOtH6213in goldבַּזָּהָ֨בba.za.HavH2091,and in silverוּבַכֶּ֜סֶףu.va.Ke.sefH3701,and in brassוּבַנְּחֹ֣שֶׁתu.va.ne.Cho.shetH5178,and in ironוּבַבַּרְזֶ֗לu.va.bar.ZelH1270,and in purpleוּבָֽאַרְגְּוָן֙u.va.'ar.ge.VanH710,and crimsonוְכַרְמִ֣ילve.khar.MilH3758,and blueוּתְכֵ֔לֶתu.te.Khe.letH8504,and that can skillH3045to graveלְפַתֵּ֣חַ פִּתּוּחִ֑יםle.fa.Te.ach pi.tu.ChimH6603 H6605with the cunning menהַֽחֲכָמִ֗יםha.cha.kha.MimH2450that arewith me in Judahבִּֽיהוּדָ֣הbi.hu.DahH3063and in Jerusalemוּבִֽירוּשָׁלִַ֔םu.vi.ru.sha.LimH3389,whom Davidדָּוִ֥ידda.VidH1732my fatherאָבִֽי׃'a.ViH1did provideהֵכִ֖יןhe.KhinH3559.

8Sendוּֽשְׁלַֽח־u.she.lach-H7971me also cedarאֲרָזִ֜ים'a.ra.ZimH730treesH6086,fir treesבְּרוֹשִׁ֣יםbe.ro.ShimH1265,and algum treesוְאַלְגּוּמִּים֮ve.'al.gu.MimH418,out of Lebanonמֵֽהַלְּבָנוֹן֒me.ha.le.va.nOnH3844:for I knowיָדַ֔עְתִּיya.Da'.tiH3045that thy servantsעֲבָדֶ֙יךָ֙'a.va.Dei.khaH5650can skillיֽוֹדְעִ֔יםyod.'ImH3045to cutלִכְר֖וֹתlikh.RotH3772timberH6086in Lebanonלְבָנ֑וֹןle.va.NonH3844;and, behold, my servantsעֲבָדַ֖י'a.va.DaiH5650shall bewith thy servantsעֲבָדֶֽיךָ׃'a.va.Dei.khaH5650,
