1Thus all the workהַמְּלָאכָ֔הha.me.la.KhahH4399that Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֖הshe.lo.MohH8010madeעָשָׂ֥ה'a.SahH6213for the houseלְבֵ֣יתle.VeitH1004of the Lordיְהוָ֑ה סYah.wehH3068was finishedוַתִּשְׁלַם֙va.tish.LamH7999:and Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֜הshe.lo.MohH8010broughtוַיָּבֵ֨אvai.ya.Ve'H935in allthe thingsקָדְשֵׁ֣י׀ka.de.SheiH6944that Davidדָּוִ֣ידda.VidH1732his fatherאָבִ֗יו'a.VivH1had dedicatedH6944;and the silverהַכֶּ֤סֶףha.Ke.sefH3701,and the goldהַזָּהָב֙ha.za.HavH2091,and all the instrumentsהַכֵּלִ֔יםha.ke.LimH3627,putנָתַ֕ןna.TanH5414he among the treasuresבְּאֹצְר֖וֹתbe.'o.tze.RotH214of the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of Godהָאֱלֹהִֽים׃ פha.'E.lo.HimH430.

2Then Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֜הshe.lo.MohH8010assembledיַקְהֵ֨ילyak.HeilH6950the eldersזִקְנֵ֣יzik.NeiH2205of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֗לYis.ra.'ElH3478,and all the headsרָאשֵׁ֨יra.SheiH7218of the tribesהַמַּטּ֜וֹתha.ma.TotH4294,the chiefנְשִׂיאֵ֧יne.si.'EiH5387of the fathersהָאָב֛וֹתha.'a.VotH1of the childrenלִבְנֵ֥יliv.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478,unto Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִָ֑םye.ru.sha.LimH3389,to bring upלְֽהַעֲל֞וֹתle.ha.'a.LotH5927the arkאֲר֧וֹן'a.RonH727of the covenantבְּרִית־be.rit-H1285of the Lordיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068out of the cityמֵעִ֥ירme.'IrH5892of Davidדָּוִ֖ידda.VidH1732, which isZionצִיּֽוֹן׃tzi.YonH6726.

3Wherefore all the menאִ֥ישׁ'ishH376of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478assembledוַיִּקָּהֲל֧וּvai.yi.ka.ha.LuH6950themselves unto the kingהַמֶּ֛לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428in the feastבֶּחָ֑גbe.ChagH2282which wasin the seventhהַשְּׁבִעִֽי׃ha.she.vi.'IH7637monthהַחֹ֥דֶשׁha.Cho.deshH2320.

4And all the eldersזִקְנֵ֣יzik.NeiH2205of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478cameוַיָּבֹ֕אוּvai.ya.Vo.'uH935;and the Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֖םhal.vi.YimH3881took upוַיִּשְׂא֥וּvai.yis.'UH5375the arkהָאָרֽוֹן׃ha.'a.RonH727.

5And they brought upוַיַּעֲל֤וּvai.ya.'a.LuH5927the arkהָאָרוֹן֙ha.'a.rOnH727,and the tabernacleאֹ֣הֶל'O.helH168of the congregationמוֹעֵ֔דmo.'EdH4150,and all the holyהַקֹּ֖דֶשׁha.Ko.deshH6944vesselsכְּלֵ֥יke.LeiH3627that werein the tabernacleבָּאֹ֑הֶלba.'O.helH168,these did the priestsהַכֹּהֲנִ֖יםha.ko.ha.NimH3548andthe Levitesהַלְוִיִּֽם׃hal.vi.YimH3881bring upהֶעֱל֣וּhe.'e.LuH5927.

6Also kingוְהַמֶּ֣לֶךְve.ha.Me.lekhH4428Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֗הshe.lo.MohH8010,and all the congregationעֲדַ֧ת'a.DatH5712of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֛לYis.ra.'ElH3478that were assembledהַנּוֹעָדִ֥יםha.no.'a.DimH3259unto him beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440the arkהָאָר֑וֹןha.'a.RonH727,sacrificedמְזַבְּחִים֙me.za.be.ChimH2076sheepצֹ֣אןtzonH6629and oxenוּבָקָ֔רu.va.KarH1241,which could not be toldיִסָּפְר֛וּyi.sa.fe.RuH5608nor numberedיִמָּנ֖וּyi.ma.NuH4487for multitudeמֵרֹֽב׃me.RoH7230.

7And the priestsהַ֠כֹּהֲנִיםHa.ko.ha.nimH3548brought inוַיָּבִ֣יאוּvai.ya.Vi.'uH935the arkאֲר֨וֹן'a.RonH727of the covenantבְּרִית־be.rit-H1285of the Lordיְהוָ֧הYah.wehH3068unto his placeמְקוֹמ֛וֹme.ko.MoH4725,to the oracleדְּבִ֥ירde.VirH1687of the houseהַבַּ֖יִתha.Ba.yitH1004,into the mostקֹ֣דֶשׁKo.deshH6944holyהַקְּדָשִׁ֑יםha.ke.da.ShimH6944place, evenunder the wingsכַּנְפֵ֥יkan.FeiH3671of the cherubimsהַכְּרוּבִֽים׃ha.ke.ru.VimH3742:

8For the cherubimsהַכְּרוּבִים֙ha.ke.ru.VimH3742spread forthפֹּרְשִׂ֣יםpo.re.SimH6566theirwingsכְּנָפַ֔יִםke.na.Fa.yimH3671over the placeמְק֖וֹםme.KomH4725of the arkהָאָר֑וֹןha.'a.RonH727,and the cherubimsהַכְּרוּבִ֛יםha.ke.ru.VimH3742coveredוַיְכַסּ֧וּvay.kha.SuH3680the arkהָאָר֥וֹןha.'a.RonH727and the stavesבַּדָּ֖יוba.DavH905thereof aboveמִלְמָֽעְלָה׃mil.Ma.'e.lahH4605.

9And they drew outוַֽיַּאֲרִיכוּ֮vai.ya.'a.ri.KhuH748the stavesהַבַּדִּים֒ha.ba.DimH905of the ark,that the endsרָאשֵׁ֨יra.SheiH7218of the stavesהַבַּדִּ֤יםha.ba.DimH905were seenוַיֵּרָאוּ֩vai.ye.ra.'UH7200from the arkהָאָרוֹן֙ha.'a.rOnH727beforeפְּנֵ֣יpe.NeiH6440the oracleהַדְּבִ֔ירha.de.VirH1687;but they were not seenיֵרָא֖וּye.ra.'UH7200withoutהַח֑וּצָהha.Chu.tzahH2351.And there it is unto this dayהַיּ֥וֹםhai.YomH3117.

10There wasnothing in the arkבָּֽאָר֔וֹןba.'a.RonH727save the twoשְׁנֵ֣יshe.NeiH8147tablesהַלֻּח֔וֹתha.lu.ChotH3871which Mosesמֹשֶׁ֖הmo.ShehH4872putנָתַ֥ןna.TanH5414thereinat Horebבְּחֹרֵ֑בbe.cho.RevH2722,when the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068madeכָּרַ֤תka.RatH3772a covenantwith the childrenבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,when they came outבְּצֵאתָ֖םbe.tze.TamH3318of Egyptמִמִּצְרָֽיִם׃ פmi.mitz.Ra.yimH4714.

11And it came to pass, when the priestsהַכֹּהֲנִ֖יםha.ko.ha.NimH3548were come outבְּצֵ֥אתbe.TzetH3318of the holyהַקֹּ֑דֶשׁha.Ko.deshH6944place: (for all the priestsהַכֹּהֲנִ֤יםha.ko.ha.NimH3548that werepresentהַֽנִּמְצְאִים֙ha.nim.tze.'ImH4672were sanctifiedהִתְקַדָּ֔שׁוּhit.ka.Da.shuH6942, and did not thenwaitלִשְׁמ֥וֹרlish.MorH8104by courseלְמַחְלְקֽוֹת׃le.mach.le.KotH4256:

12Also the Levitesוְהַלְוִיִּ֣םve.hal.vi.YimH3881which werethe singersהַמְשֹׁרֲרִ֣יםham.sho.ra.RimH7891,all of them of Asaphלְאָסָ֡ףle.'a.SafH623,of Hemanלְהֵימָ֣ןle.hei.ManH1968,of Jeduthunלִֽ֠ידֻתוּןLi.du.tunH3038,with their sonsוְלִבְנֵיהֶ֨םve.liv.nei.HemH1121and their brethrenוְלַאֲחֵיהֶ֜םve.la.'a.chei.HemH251, beingarrayedמְלֻבָּשִׁ֣יםme.lu.ba.ShimH3847in white linenבּ֗וּץButzH948,having cymbalsבִּמְצִלְתַּ֙יִם֙bim.tzil.Ta.yimH4700and psalteriesוּבִנְבָלִ֣יםu.vin.va.LimH5035and harpsוְכִנֹּר֔וֹתve.khi.no.RotH3658,stoodעֹמְדִ֖ים'o.me.DimH5975at the east endמִזְרָ֣חmiz.RachH4217of the altarלַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַla.miz.Be.achH4196,and with them an hundredלְמֵאָ֣הle.me.'AhH3967and twentyוְעֶשְׂרִ֔יםve.'es.RimH6242priestsכֹּֽהֲנִים֙ko.ha.NimH3548soundingמַחְצְרִ֖יםmach.tze.ri.rimH2690with trumpetsבַּחֲצֹֽצְרֽוֹת׃ba.cha.Tzo.tze.RotH2689:)

13It came even to pass, as the trumpetersלַמְחַצְּרִ֨יםla.ma.cha.tzo.tze.rimH2690and singersוְלַמְשֹֽׁרֲרִ֜יםve.lam.sho.ra.RimH7891wereas oneכְ֠אֶחָדKhe.'e.chodH259,to make oneאֶחָ֗ד'e.ChadH259soundקוֹל־kol-H6963to be heardלְהַשְׁמִ֣יעַle.hash.Mi.a'H8085in praisingלְהַלֵּ֣לle.ha.LelH1984and thankingוּלְהֹדוֹת֮u.le.ho.dOtH3034the Lordלַיהוָה֒la.Yah.wehH3068;and when they lifted upוּכְהָרִ֣יםu.khe.ha.RimH7311theirvoiceק֠וֹלKolH6963with the trumpetsבַּחֲצֹצְר֨וֹתba.cha.tzo.tze.RotH2689and cymbalsוּבִמְצִלְתַּ֜יִםu.vim.tzil.Ta.yimH4700and instrumentsוּבִכְלֵ֣יu.vikh.LeiH3627of musickהַשִּׁ֗ירha.ShirH7892,and praisedוּבְהַלֵּ֤לu.ve.ha.LelH1984the Lordלַיהוָה֙la.Yah.wehH3068, saying, For he isgoodט֔וֹבTovH2896;for his mercyחַסְדּ֑וֹchas.DoH2617endurethfor everלְעוֹלָ֖םle.'o.LamH5769: that thenthe houseוְהַבַּ֛יִתve.ha.Ba.yitH1004was filledמָלֵ֥אma.Le'H4390with a cloudעָנָ֖ן'a.NanH6051, eventhe houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068;

14So that the priestsהַכֹּהֲנִ֛יםha.ko.ha.NimH3548couldיָֽכְל֧וּya.khe.LuH3201not standלַעֲמ֥וֹדla.'a.ModH5975to ministerלְשָׁרֵ֖תle.sha.RetH8334by reasonמִפְּנֵ֣יmi.pe.NeiH6440of the cloudהֶעָנָ֑ןhe.'a.NanH6051:for the gloryכְבוֹד־khe.Vod-H3519of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068had filledמָלֵ֥אma.Le'H4390the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of Godהָאֱלֹהִֽים׃ פha.'E.lo.HimH430.
