2Then Davidדָּוִ֔ידda.VidH1732saidאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559,None ought to carryלָשֵׂאת֙la.seTH5375the arkאֲר֣וֹן'a.RonH727of Godהָֽאֱלֹהִ֔יםha.'E.lo.HimH430but the Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֑םhal.vi.YimH3881:for them hath the LordH3068chosenבָּחַ֣רba.CharH977to carryלָשֵׂ֞אתla.SetH5375the arkאֲר֧וֹן'a.RonH727of GodH430,and to ministerוּֽלְשָׁרְת֖וֹu.le.sha.re.ToH8334unto him forעַד־'ad-H5704everעוֹלָֽם׃ סo.LamH5769.

3And Davidדָּוִ֛ידda.VidH1732gatheredH6950all Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478togetherH6950to Jerusalemיְרֽוּשָׁלִָ֑םye.ru.sha.LimH3389,to bring upלְהַעֲלוֹת֙le.ha.'a.lOtH5927the arkאֲר֣וֹן'a.RonH727of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068unto his placeמְקוֹמ֖וֹme.ko.MoH4725,which he had preparedהֵכִ֥יןhe.KhinH3559for it.

13For because ye did itnot at the firstלְמַבָּרִ֥אשׁוֹנָ֖הle.ma.ba.Ri.sho.NahH7223,the Lordיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068our Godאֱלֹהֵ֙ינוּ֙'e.lo.Hei.nuH430made a breachפָּרַ֨ץpa.RatzH6555upon us, for that we soughtדְרַשְׁנֻ֖הוּde.rash.Nu.huH1875him not after the due orderכַּמִּשְׁפָּֽט׃ka.mish.PatH4941.

14So the priestsהַכֹּהֲנִ֖יםha.ko.ha.NimH3548and the Levitesוְהַלְוִיִּ֑םve.hal.vi.YimH3881sanctifiedוַיִּֽתְקַדְּשׁ֔וּvai.yit.ka.de.ShuH6942themselves to bring upלְהַעֲל֕וֹתle.ha.'a.LotH5927the arkאֲר֥וֹן'a.RonH727of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068Godאֱלֹהֵ֥י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.
