Hosea 2:2-13

2RebukeH7378 your motherH517, rebuke herH7378, forH3588 sheH1931 is notH3808 My wifeH802, and IH595 am notH3808 her husbandH376. Let her removeH5493 the adulteryH2183 from her faceH6440 and the unfaithfulnessH5005 from betweenH996 her breastsH7699.3OtherwiseH6435, I will strip herH6584 nakedH6174 and expose herH3322 like the dayH3117 of her birthH3205. I will make herH7760 like a desertH4057 and turn her intoH7896 a parchedH6723 landH776, and I will let her dieH4191 of thirstH6772.4 I will have noH3808 compassionH7355 on her childrenH1121, becauseH3588 theyH1992 are the childrenH1121 of adulteryH2183.5ForH3588 their motherH517 has played the harlotH2181 and has conceived themH2029 in disgraceH954. ForH3588 she thoughtH559, ‘I will goH1980 afterH310 my loversH157, who give meH5414 breadH3899 and waterH4325, woolH6785 and linenH6593, oilH8081 and drinkH8250.’

6ThereforeH3651, beholdH2005,I will hedge upH7753 herH853 pathH1870 1 with thornsH5518;I will enclose her with a wallH1443 ,so she cannotH3808 findH4672 her wayH5410.7She will pursueH7291 her loversH157 but notH3808 catchH5381 themH853;she will seek themH1245 but notH3808 find themH4672.Then she will sayH559 H1980,‘I will returnH7725 toH413 my firstH7223 husbandH376,forH3588 thenH227 I was better offH2896 than nowH6258.’8For sheH1931 does notH3808 acknowledgeH3045thatH3588 it was IH595 who gaveH5414 her grainH1715,new wineH8492, and oilH3323,who lavishedH7235 on her silverH3701 and goldH2091—which they craftedH6213 for BaalH1168.

9ThereforeH3651 I will take backH7725 H3947 My grainH1715 in its timeH6256and My new wineH8492 in its seasonH4150;I will take awayH5337 My woolH6785 and linenH6593,which were given to coverH3680 her nakednessH6172.10And thenH6258 I will exposeH1540 her lewdnessH5040in the sightH5869 of her loversH157,and noH3808 oneH376 will deliver herH5337out of My handsH3027.11I will put an endH7673 to allH3605 her exultationH4885:her feastsH2282, New MoonsH2320, and SabbathsH7676—allH3605 her appointed feastsH4150.12I will destroyH8074 her vinesH1612 and fig treesH8384,whichH834 she thinksH559 are the wagesH866 paidH5414 by her loversH157.So I will make themH7760 into a thicketH3293,and the beastsH2416 of the fieldH7704 will devour themH398.13I will punishH6485 herH5921 for the daysH3117 of the BaalsH1168whenH834 she burned incense to themH6999,when she adorned herselfH5710 with ringsH5141 and jewelryH2484,and wentH1980 afterH310 her loversH157.

But MeH853 she forgotH7911,”declaresH5002 the LORDH3068.
