Hosea 13:1-8

1When EphraimH669 1 spokeH1696, there was tremblingH7578; heH1931 was exaltedH5375 in IsraelH3478. But he incurred guiltH816 through BaalH1168, and he diedH4191.

2NowH6258 they sinH2398 more and moreH3254and makeH6213 for themselves cast imagesH4541,idolsH6091 skillfully madeH8394 from their silverH3701,allH3605 of them the workH4639 of craftsmenH2796.PeopleH1992 say of themH559,“They offer human sacrificeH2076 H120and kissH5401 the calvesH5695!”23ThereforeH3651 they will beH1961 like the morningH1242 mistH6051,like the earlyH7925 dewH2919 that vanishesH1980,like chaffH4671 blownH5590 from a threshing floorH1637,like smokeH6227 through an open windowH699.

4Yet IH595 am the LORDH3068 your GodH430ever since the landH776 of EgyptH4714;you knowH3045 noH3808 GodH430 but MeH2108,for there is noH369 SaviorH3467 besides MeH1115.5IH589 knew youH3045 in the wildernessH4057,in the landH776 of droughtH8514.6When they had pastureH4830,they became satisfiedH7646;when they were satisfiedH7646,their heartsH3820 became proudH7311,and as a resultH5921 H3651 they forgot MeH7911.7So likeH3644 a lionH7826 I will pounceH1961 on them;like a leopardH5246 I will lurkH7789 byH5921 the pathH1870.8Like a bearH1677 robbed of her cubsH7909 I will attack themH6298,and I will tearH7167 open their chestsH5458 H3820.ThereH8033 I will devour themH398 like a lionH3833,like a wildH7704 beastH2416 tearing them apartH1234.
