Daniel 7:9-28
9AsH5705H1768 I continuedH1934 to watchH2370,
11ThenH116 I keptH1934 watchingH2370 because ofH4481 the arrogantH7260 wordsH4406H1768 the hornH7162 was speakingH4449. AsH5705H1768 I continued to watchH2370H1934, the beastH2423 was slainH6992, and its bodyH1655 was destroyedH7 and thrown intoH3052 the blazingH3346 fireH785. 12As for the restH7606 of the beastsH2423, their dominionH7985 was removedH5709, but they were grantedH3052 an extensionH754 of lifeH2417 forH5705 a seasonH2166 and a timeH5732.
13In my visionH2376 in the nightH3916 I continuedH1934 to watchH2370,
15IH576, DanielH1841, was grievedH3735 inH1459 my spiritH7308H5085, and the visionsH2376 in my mindH7217 alarmed meH927. 16I approachedH7127 oneH2298 ofH4481 those who were standing thereH6966, and I askedH1156 himH4481 the true meaningH3330 ofH5922 allH3606 thisH1836.
So he toldH560 me the interpretationH6591 of these thingsH4406: 17‘TheseH459 fourH703 greatH7260 beastsH2423 areH581 fourH703 kingsH4430 who will ariseH6966 fromH4481 the earthH772. 18But the saintsH6922 of the Most HighH5946 will receiveH6902 the kingdomH4437 and possessH2631 itH4437 foreverH5705H5957—yes, foreverH5705H5957 and everH5957.’
19ThenH116 I wantedH6634 to know the true meaningH3321 ofH5922 the fourthH7244 beastH2423, whichH1768 wasH1934 differentH8133 fromH4481 all theH3606 others—extremelyH3493 terrifyingH1763—devouringH399 and crushingH1855 with ironH6523 teethH8128H1768 and bronzeH5174 clawsH2953H1768, then tramplingH7512 underfootH7271 whatever was leftH7606. 20I also wanted to know aboutH5922 the tenH6236 hornsH7162 on its headH7217 and the otherH317H1768 horn thatH1768 came upH5559, before whichH6925 three of themH8532 fellH5308—the hornH7162 whose appearanceH2376 was more imposing thanH4481 the othersH2273, with eyesH5870 and with a mouthH6433 that spokeH4449 words of arroganceH7260. 21As IH1934 watchedH2370, thisH1797 hornH7162 was wagingH5648 warH7129 againstH5974 the saintsH6922 and prevailingH3201 against them, 22untilH5705H1768 the AncientH6268 of DaysH3118 arrivedH858 and pronouncedH3052 judgmentH1780 in favor of the saintsH6922 of the Most HighH5946, and the timeH2166 cameH4291 forH6922 them to possessH2631 the kingdomH4437.
23This is whatH3652 he saidH560: ‘The fourthH7244 beast isH2423 a fourthH7244 kingdomH4437 that will appearH1934 on the earthH772H1768, differentH8133 fromH4481 allH3606 the other kingdomsH4437, and it will devourH399 the wholeH3606 earthH772, trample it downH1759, and crush itH1855. 24And the tenH6236 hornsH7162 are tenH6236 kingsH4430 who will riseH6966 fromH4481 this kingdomH4437. After themH311 anotherH321 king, differentH8133 fromH4481 the earlierH6933 ones, will riseH6966 and subdueH8214 threeH8532 kingsH4430. 25He will speak outH4449H4406 againstH6655 the Most HighH5943 and oppressH1080 the saintsH6922 of the Most HighH5946, intendingH5452 to changeH8133 the appointed timesH2166 and lawsH1882; and the saints will be givenH3052 into his handH3028 forH5705 a timeH5732, and timesH5732, and halfH6387 a timeH5732.
26But the courtH1780 will conveneH3488, and his dominionH7985 will be taken awayH5709 and completely destroyedH8046H7 foreverH5705H5491. 27Then the sovereigntyH4437, dominionH7985, and greatnessH7238 ofH1768 the kingdomsH4437 underH8460 allH3606 of heavenH8065 will be givenH3052 to the peopleH5972, the saintsH6922 of the Most HighH5946. His kingdomH4437 will be an everlastingH5957 kingdomH4437, and allH3606 rulersH7985 will serveH6399 and obeyH8086 Him.’
ThusH3542 endsH5491 the matterH4406. As for meH576, DanielH1841, my thoughtsH7476 troubled meH927 greatlyH7690, and my faceH2122 turned paleH8133H5922. But I keptH5202 the matterH4406 to myselfH3821.”
