1 Samuel 2:1-10

1At that time HannahH2584 H559 prayedH6419:

“My heartH3820 rejoicesH5970 in the LORDH3068;my hornH7161 1 is exaltedH7311 in the LORDH3068.My mouthH6310 speaks boldlyH7337 againstH5921 my enemiesH341,forH3588 I rejoiceH8055 in Your salvationH3444.2There is no oneH369 holyH6918 like the LORDH3068.IndeedH3588, there is no oneH369 besides YouH1115!And there is noH369 RockH6697 like our GodH430.

3Do notH408 boastH7235 H1696 so proudlyH1364,or let arroganceH6277 comeH3318 from your mouthH6310,forH3588 the LORDH3068 is a GodH410 who knowsH1844,and by HimH3808 actionsH5949 are weighedH8505.

4The bowsH7198 of the mightyH1368 are brokenH2844,but the feebleH3782 are equippedH247 with strengthH2428.5The well-fedH7649 hire themselves outH7936 for foodH3899,but the starvingH7457 hunger no moreH2308 H5704.The barren womanH6135 gives birth toH3205 sevenH7651,but she who has manyH7227 sonsH1121 pines awayH535.

6The LORDH3068 brings deathH4191 and gives lifeH2421;He bringsH3381 down to SheolH7585 and raises upH5927.7The LORDH3068 sends povertyH3423 and wealthH6238;He humblesH8213 andH637 He exaltsH7311.8He raisesH6965 the poorH1800 from the dustH6083and liftsH7311 the needyH34 from the ash heapH830.He seatsH3427 them amongH5973 princesH5081and bestows on themH5157 a throneH3678 of honorH3519.

ForH3588 the foundationsH4690 of the earthH776 are the LORD’sH3068,and upon themH5921 He has setH7896 the worldH8398.9He guardsH8104 the stepsH7272 of His faithful onesH2623,but the wickedH7563 perishH1826 in darknessH2822;forH3588 by his own strengthH3581 shall noH3808 manH376 prevailH1396.

10Those who opposeH7378 the LORDH3068 will be shatteredH5181.He will thunderH7481 from heavenH8064 against themH5921.The LORDH3068 will judgeH1777 the endsH657 of the earthH776and will giveH5414 powerH5797 to His kingH4428.He will exaltH7311 the hornH7161 of His anointedH4899.”
