3Jonah, howeverיוֹנָה֙yo.NahH3124,got upוַיָּ֤קָםvai.Ya.komH6965to fleeלִבְרֹ֣חַliv.Ro.achH1272to Tarshishתַּרְשִׁ֔ישָׁהtar.Shi.shahH8659,away from the presenceמִלִּפְנֵ֖יmi.lif.NeiH6440of the LORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068.He went downוַיֵּ֨רֶדvai.Ye.redH3381to Joppaיָפ֜וֹya.FoH3305and foundוַיִּמְצָ֥אvai.yim.Tza'H4672a shipאָנִיָּ֣ה׀'a.ni.YahH591boundבָּאָ֣הba.'AhH935for Tarshishתַרְשִׁ֗ישׁtar.ShishH8659.So he paidוַיִּתֵּ֨ןvai.yi.TenH5414the fareשְׂכָרָ֜הּse.kha.RahH7939and went aboardוַיֵּ֤רֶדvai.Ye.redH3381to sailלָב֤וֹא עִמָּהֶם֙la.Vo' 'i.ma.HemH935 H5973for Tarshishתַּרְשִׁ֔ישָׁהtar.Shi.shahH8659,away from the presenceמִלִּפְנֵ֖יmi.lif.NeiH6440of the LORDיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

4Then the LORDוַֽיהוָ֗הva.Yah.wehH3068hurledהֵטִ֤ילhe.TilH2904a greatגְּדוֹלָה֙ge.do.LahH1419windרֽוּחַ־Ru.ach-H7307uponאֶל־'el-H413the seaהַיָּ֔םhai.YamH3220,and such a violentגָּד֖וֹלga.DolH1419stormסַֽעַר־sa.'ar-H5591aroseוַיְהִ֥יvay.HiH1961בַּיָּ֑םbai.YamH3220that the shipוְהָ֣אֳנִיָּ֔הve.Ho.'o.ni.YahH591was in dangerחִשְּׁבָ֖הchi.she.VahH2803of breaking apartלְהִשָּׁבֵֽר׃le.hi.sha.VerH7665.
