9So Jeshuaיֵשׁ֡וּעַye.Shu.a'H3442and his sonsבָּנָ֣יוba.NavH1121and brothersוְ֠אֶחָיוVe.'e.chavH251,Kadmielקַדְמִיאֵ֨לkad.mi.'ElH6934and his sonsוּבָנָ֤יוu.va.NavH1121(descendantsבְּנֵֽי־be.nei-H1121of Yehudahיְהוּדָה֙ye.hu.DahH3063), andthe sonsבְּנֵי֙be.NeiH1121of Henadadחֵֽנָדָ֔דche.na.DadH2582and their sonsבְּנֵיהֶ֥םbe.nei.HemH1121and brothersוַאֲחֵיהֶ֖םva.'a.chei.HemH251—all Levitesהַלְוִיִּֽם׃hal.vi.YimH3881—joinedוַיַּעֲמֹ֣דvai.ya.'a.ModH5975togetherכְּאֶחָ֔דke.'e.ChadH259to superviseלְנַצֵּ֛חַ עַל־le.na.Tze.ach 'al-H5329 H5921those workingעֹשֵׂ֥ה הַמְּלָאכָ֖ה'o.Seh ha.me.la.KhahH6213 H4399on the houseבְּבֵ֣יתbe.VeitH1004of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֑ים סha.'E.lo.HimH430.

10When the buildersהַבֹּנִ֖יםha.bo.NimH1129אֶת־'et-H853had laid the foundationוְיִסְּד֥וּve.yi.se.DuH3245of the templeהֵיכַ֣לhei.KhalH1964of the LORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,the priestsהַכֹּהֲנִ֨יםha.ko.ha.NimH3548in their apparelמְלֻבָּשִׁ֜יםme.lu.ba.ShimH3847with trumpetsבַּחֲצֹֽצְר֗וֹתba.cha.tzo.tze.RotH2689,and the Levitesוְהַלְוִיִּ֤םve.hal.vi.YimH3881(the sonsבְּנֵֽי־be.nei-H1121of Asaphאָסָף֙'a.SafH623)with cymbalsבַּֽמְצִלְתַּ֔יִםbam.tzil.Ta.yimH4700,took their positionsוַיַּעֲמִידוּ֩vai.ya.'a.mi.DuH5975to praiseלְהַלֵּל֙le.ha.LelH1984אֶת־'et-H853the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,asעַל־'al-H5921Davidדָּוִ֥ידda.VidH1732kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478had prescribedיְדֵ֖יye.DeiH3027.

11And they sang responsivelyוַֽ֠יַּעֲנוּVai.ya.'a.nuH6030with praiseבְּהַלֵּ֨לbe.ha.LelH1984and thanksgivingוּבְהוֹדֹ֤תu.ve.ho.DotH3034to the LORDלַֽיהוָה֙la.Yah.wehH3068: “Forכִּ֣יkiH3588He is goodט֔וֹבTovH2896;forכִּֽי־ki-H3588His loving devotionחַסְדּ֖וֹchas.DoH2617toעַל־'al-H5921Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478endures foreverלְעוֹלָ֥םle.'o.LamH5769.”Then allוְכָל־ve.kholH3605the peopleהָעָ֡םha.'AmH5971gave a greatגְדוֹלָ֤הge.do.LahH1419shoutהֵרִיעוּ֩ תְרוּעָ֙הhe.ri.'U te.ru.'AhH7321 H8643of praiseבְהַלֵּל֙ve.ha.LelH1984to the LORDלַֽיהוָ֔הla.Yah.wehH3068,because the foundationעַ֖ל'alH5921of the houseבֵּית־beit-H1004of the LORDיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068had been laidהוּסַ֥דhu.SadH3245.

13The peopleהָעָ֗םha.'AmH5971could notוְאֵ֣יןve.'EinH369distinguishמַכִּירִים֙ma.ki.RimH5234the shoutsק֚וֹל תְּרוּעַ֣תKol te.ru.'AtH6963 H8643of joyהַשִּׂמְחָ֔הha.sim.ChahH8057from the soundלְק֖וֹלle.KolH6963of weepingבְּכִ֣יbe.KhiH1065,becauseהָעָ֑ם כִּ֣יha.'Am kiH3588 H5971the peopleהָעָ֗םha.'AmH5971were making so much noiseמְרִיעִים֙ תְּרוּעָ֣ה גְדוֹלָ֔הme.ri.'Im te.ru.'Ah ge.do.LahH7321 H8643 H1419.And the soundוְהַקּ֥וֹלve.ha.KolH6963was heardנִשְׁמַ֖עnish.Ma'H8085fromעַד־'ad-H5704afarלְמֵרָחֽוֹק׃ פle.me.ra.ChokH7350.
