3They set upוַיָּכִ֤ינוּvai.ya.Khi.nuH3559the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֙חַ֙ha.miz.Be.achH4196onעַל־'al-H5921its foundationמְכ֣וֹנֹתָ֔יוme.Kho.no.TavH4350and sacrificedעֲלֵיהֶ֔ם וַיַּעֲל֨וּ'a.lei.Hem vai.ya.'alH5927 H5921burnt offeringsעֹלוֹת֙'o.lOtH5930on itעָלָ֤יו'a.LavH5921to the LORDלַֽיהוָ֔הla.Yah.wehH3068—boththe morningלַבֹּ֥קֶרla.Bo.kerH1242and eveningוְלָעָֽרֶב׃ve.la.'A.revH6153burnt offeringsעֹל֖וֹתo.LotH5930—even thoughכִּ֚יkiH3588they fearedבְּאֵימָ֣הbe.'ei.MahH367the peopleמֵעַמֵּ֖יme.'a.MeiH5971of the landהָאֲרָצ֑וֹתha.'a.ra.TzotH776.

4They also celebratedוַֽיַּעֲשׂ֛וּvai.ya.'a.SuH6213אֶת־'et-H853the Feastחַ֥גchagH2282of Tabernaclesהַסֻּכּ֖וֹתha.su.KotH5521in accordance with what is writtenכַּכָּת֑וּבka.ka.TuvH3789,and they offered burnt offeringsוְעֹלַ֨תve.'o.LatH5930dailyH3117based on the numberבְּמִסְפָּ֔רbe.mis.ParH4557prescribedכְּמִשְׁפַּ֖ט דְּבַר־ke.mish.Pat de.var-H4941 H1697for each dayH3117.

5After thatוְאַחֲרֵיכֵ֞ןve.'a.cha.rei.KhenH310,they presented the regularתָּמִיד֙ta.MidH8548burnt offeringsעֹלַ֤ת'o.LatH5930and those for New Moonsוְלֶ֣חֳדָשִׁ֔יםve.Le.cho.da.ShimH2320and for allוּלְכָל־u.le.khol-H3605the appointedמוֹעֲדֵ֥יmo.'a.DeiH4150sacred feastsהַמְקֻדָּשִׁ֑יםham.ku.da.ShimH6942of the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,as well as allוּלְכֹ֛לu.le.KholH3605the freewill offeringsנְדָבָ֖הne.da.VahH5071broughtמִתְנַדֵּ֥בmit.na.DevH5068to the LORDלַיהוָֽה׃la.Yah.wehH3068.

6On the firstאֶחָד֙'e.ChadH259dayמִיּ֤וֹםmi.YomH3117of the seventhהַשְּׁבִיעִ֔יha.she.vi.'IH7637monthלַחֹ֣דֶשׁla.Cho.deshH2320, the Israelitesbeganהֵחֵ֕לּוּhe.Che.luH2490to offerלְהַעֲל֥וֹתle.ha.'a.LotH5927burnt offeringsעֹל֖וֹתo.LotH5930to the LORDלַיהוָ֑הla.Yah.wehH3068,although the foundation of the templeוְהֵיכַ֥לve.hei.KhalH1964of the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068had not been laidלֹ֥א יֻסָּֽד׃lo' yu.SadH3808 H3245.
