10When the buildersהַבֹּנִ֖יםha.bo.NimH1129אֶת־'et-H853had laid the foundationוְיִסְּד֥וּve.yi.se.DuH3245of the templeהֵיכַ֣לhei.KhalH1964of the LORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,the priestsהַכֹּהֲנִ֨יםha.ko.ha.NimH3548in their apparelמְלֻבָּשִׁ֜יםme.lu.ba.ShimH3847with trumpetsבַּחֲצֹֽצְר֗וֹתba.cha.tzo.tze.RotH2689,and the Levitesוְהַלְוִיִּ֤םve.hal.vi.YimH3881(the sonsבְּנֵֽי־be.nei-H1121of Asaphאָסָף֙'a.SafH623)with cymbalsבַּֽמְצִלְתַּ֔יִםbam.tzil.Ta.yimH4700,took their positionsוַיַּעֲמִידוּ֩vai.ya.'a.mi.DuH5975to praiseלְהַלֵּל֙le.ha.LelH1984אֶת־'et-H853the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,asעַל־'al-H5921Davidדָּוִ֥ידda.VidH1732kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478had prescribedיְדֵ֖יye.DeiH3027.
11And they sang responsivelyוַֽ֠יַּעֲנוּVai.ya.'a.nuH6030with praiseבְּהַלֵּ֨לbe.ha.LelH1984and thanksgivingוּבְהוֹדֹ֤תu.ve.ho.DotH3034to the LORDלַֽיהוָה֙la.Yah.wehH3068: “Forכִּ֣יkiH3588He is goodט֔וֹבTovH2896;forכִּֽי־ki-H3588His loving devotionחַסְדּ֖וֹchas.DoH2617toעַל־'al-H5921Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478endures foreverלְעוֹלָ֥םle.'o.LamH5769.”Then allוְכָל־ve.kholH3605the peopleהָעָ֡םha.'AmH5971gave a greatגְדוֹלָ֤הge.do.LahH1419shoutהֵרִיעוּ֩ תְרוּעָ֙הhe.ri.'U te.ru.'AhH7321H8643of praiseבְהַלֵּל֙ve.ha.LelH1984to the LORDלַֽיהוָ֔הla.Yah.wehH3068,because the foundationעַ֖ל'alH5921of the houseבֵּית־beit-H1004of the LORDיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068had been laidהוּסַ֥דhu.SadH3245.
12But manyוְרַבִּ֡יםve.ra.BimH7227of the olderהַזְּקֵנִ֗יםha.ze.ke.NimH2205priestsמֵהַכֹּהֲנִ֣יםme.ha.ko.ha.NimH3548,Levitesוְהַלְוִיִּם֩ve.hal.vi.YimH3881,and familyהָאָב֜וֹתha.'a.VotH1headsוְרָאשֵׁ֨יve.ra.SheiH7218whoאֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834had seenרָא֜וּra.'UH7200אֶת־'et-H853the firstהָֽרִאשׁוֹן֙ha.ri.shOnH7223templeהַבַּ֤יִתha.Ba.yitH1004weptבֹּכִ֖יםbo.KhimH1058loudlyבְּק֣וֹל גָּד֑וֹלbe.Kol ga.DolH6963H1419when they sawבְּעֵ֣ינֵיהֶ֔םbe.'Ei.nei.HemH5869the foundationבְּיָסְד֔וֹbe.ya.se.DoH3245of thisזֶ֤הzehH2088templeהַבַּ֙יִת֙ha.Ba.yitH1004.Still, manyוְרַבִּ֛יםve.ra.BimH7227others shoutedבִּתְרוּעָ֥ה לְהָרִ֥יםbit.ru.'Ah le.ha.RimH8643H7311joyfullyבְשִׂמְחָ֖ה קֽוֹל׃ve.sim.Chah KolH6963H8057.
13The peopleהָעָ֗םha.'AmH5971could notוְאֵ֣יןve.'EinH369distinguishמַכִּירִים֙ma.ki.RimH5234the shoutsק֚וֹל תְּרוּעַ֣תKol te.ru.'AtH6963H8643of joyהַשִּׂמְחָ֔הha.sim.ChahH8057from the soundלְק֖וֹלle.KolH6963of weepingבְּכִ֣יbe.KhiH1065,becauseהָעָ֑ם כִּ֣יha.'Am kiH3588H5971the peopleהָעָ֗םha.'AmH5971were making so much noiseמְרִיעִים֙ תְּרוּעָ֣ה גְדוֹלָ֔הme.ri.'Im te.ru.'Ah ge.do.LahH7321H8643H1419.And the soundוְהַקּ֥וֹלve.ha.KolH6963was heardנִשְׁמַ֖עnish.Ma'H8085fromעַד־'ad-H5704afarלְמֵרָחֽוֹק׃ פle.me.ra.ChokH7350.
