6LookH7200 not upon me, because I am swarthy,Because the sunH8121 hath scorched me.My mother’sH517 sonsH1121 were incensed against me;They madeH7760 me keeper of the vineyardsH3754;But mine own vineyardH3754 have I not kept.7TellH5046 me, O thou whom my soulH5315 loveth,Where thou feedest thy flockH5739,Where thou makest it to rest at noonH6672:For whyH4100 should I beH1961 as one that is veiledBeside the flocksH5739 of thy companionsH2270?8If thou knowH3045 not, O thou fairest among womenH802,GoH3318 thy way forthH3318 by the footsteps of the flockH6629,And feedH7462 thy kids beside the shepherds’ tents.9I have compared thee, O my love,To a steed in Pharaoh’s chariotsH7393.
