Jonah 1:13-16
13Nevertheless the menH376 rowed hard to get them backH7725 to the landH3004; but they could not: for the seaH3220 grew more and more tempestuous against them. 14Wherefore they cried unto Jehovah, and saidH559, We beseech thee, O Jehovah, we beseech thee, let us not perishH6 for this man’sH376 lifeH5315, and lay not upon us innocentH5355 bloodH1818; for thou, O Jehovah, hast done as it pleasedH2654 thee. 15So they tookH5375 up JonahH3124, and cast him forth into the seaH3220; and the seaH3220 ceased from its raging. 16Then the menH376 fearedH3372 Jehovah exceedingly; and they offeredH2076 a sacrificeH2077 unto Jehovah, and madeH5087 vowsH5088.
