11ThusH3541 saith Jehovah of hostsH6635: AskH7592 now the priestsH3548 concerning the lawH8451, sayingH559, 12If oneH376 bearH5375 holyH6944 fleshH1320 in the skirtH3671 of his garmentH899, and with his skirtH3671 do touchH5060 breadH3899, or pottage, or wineH3196, or oilH8081, or any foodH3899, shall it become holyH6944? And the priestsH3548 answered and saidH559, No. 13Then saidH559 HaggaiH2292, If one that is uncleanH2931 by reason of a dead body touchH5060 any of these, shall it be uncleanH2931? And the priestsH3548 answered and saidH559, It shall be uncleanH2931. 14Then answered HaggaiH2292 and saidH559, SoH3651 is this peopleH5971, and soH3651 is this nationH1471 before me, saith Jehovah; and soH3651 is every workH4639 of their handsH3027; and that which they offer there is uncleanH2931.
