18 The wicked רָשָׁ֗ע ra.Sha' H7563 earneth deceitful wages פְעֻלַּת־ fe.'u.lat- H6468 ; But he that soweth righteousness צְ֝דָקָ֗ה tze.da.Kah H6666 hath a sure reward . 19 He that is stedfast in righteousness צְדָקָ֥ה tze.da.Kah H6666 shall attain unto life לְחַיִּ֑ים le.chai.Yim H2416 ; And he that pursueth evil רָעָ֣ה ra.'Ah H7451 doeth it to his own death לְמוֹתֽוֹ׃ le.mo.To H4194 . 20 They that are perverse עִקְּשֵׁי־ 'i.ke.shei- H6141 in heart לֵ֑ב Lev H3820 are an abomination תּוֹעֲבַ֣ת to.'a.Vat H8441 to Jehovah ; But such as are perfect H8549 in their way דָֽרֶךְ׃ Da.rekh H1870 are his delight H7522 . 21 Though hand יָ֣ד yad H3027 join in hand לְ֭יָד Le.yod H3027 , the evil רָּ֑ע Ra' H7451 man shall not be unpunished יִנָּ֣קֶה yi.Na.keh H5352 ; But the seed H2233 of the righteous צַדִּיקִ֣ים tza.di.Kim H6662 shall be delivered נִמְלָֽט׃ nim.Lat H4422 . 22 As a ring נֶ֣זֶם Ne.zem H5141 of gold זָ֭הָב za.ho H2091 in a swine’s snout , So is a fair woman אִשָּׁ֥ה 'i.Shah H802 that is without discretion . 23 The desire תַּאֲוַ֣ת ta.'a.Vat H8378 of the righteous צַדִּיקִ֣ים tza.di.Kim H6662 is only אַךְ־ 'akh- H389 good ט֑וֹב Tov H2896 ; But the expectation of the wicked רְשָׁעִ֣ים re.sha.'Im H7563 is wrath H5678 . 24 There is that scattereth, and increaseth yet H5750 more ; And there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth only אַךְ־ 'akh- H389 to want . 25 The liberal soul H5315 shall be made fat תְדֻשָּׁ֑ן te.du.Shan H1878 ; And he that watereth shall be watered also גַּם־ gam- H1571 himself . 26 He that withholdeth grain בָּ֭ר bar H1250 , the people לְא֑וֹם le.'om H3816 shall curse him; But blessing וּ֝בְרָכָ֗ה u.ve.ra.Khah H1293 shall be upon the head לְרֹ֣אשׁ le.Rosh H7218 of him that selleth it . 27 He that diligently seeketh good ט֭וֹב Tov H2896 seeketh favor רָצ֑וֹן ra.Tzon H7522 ; But he that searcheth after evil רָעָ֣ה ra.'Ah H7451 , it shall come תְבוֹאֶֽנּוּ׃ te.vo.'E.nu H935 unto him . 28 He that trusteth in his riches H6239 shall fall יִפֹּ֑ל yi.Pol H5307 ; But the righteous צַדִּיקִ֥ים tza.di.Kim H6662 shall flourish as the green leaf וְ֝כֶעָלֶ֗ה ve.khe.'a.Leh H5929 . 29 He that troubleth his own house H1004 shall inherit יִנְחַל־ yin.chal- H5157 the wind ר֑וּחַ Ru.ach H7307 ; And the foolish shall be servant וְעֶ֥בֶד ve.'E.ved H5650 to the wise לַחֲכַם־ la.cha.kham- H2450 of heart לֵֽב׃ Lev H3820 . 31 Behold , the righteous צַ֭דִּיק Tza.dik H6662 shall be recompensed in the earth בָּאָ֣רֶץ ba.'A.retz H776 ; How much more the wicked רָשָׁ֥ע ra.Sha' H7563 and the sinner וְחוֹטֵֽא׃ ve.cho.Te' H2398 !
