Leviticus 21:1-23

And the LORDH3068 saidH559 unto MosesH4872, SpeakH559 unto the priestsH3548 the sonsH1121 of AaronH175, and sayH559 unto them, There shall noneH3808 defileH2930 himselfH5315 for the deadH5315 among his peopleH5971;

exceptH518 for his kin, that is nearH7138 unto him, for his motherH517, and for his fatherH1, and for his sonH1121, and for his daughterH1323, and for his brotherH251;

and for his sisterH269 a virginH1330, that is nearH7138 unto him, whichH834 hath had noH3808 husbandH376, for herH413 may he defileH2930 himselfH2930.

He shall notH3808 defileH2930 himselfH2930, being a chief manH1167 among his peopleH5971, to profaneH2490 himselfH2930.

They shall notH3808 makeH7139 baldnessH7144 upon their headH7218, neitherH3808 shall they shaveH1548 offH1548 the cornerH7218 of their beardH2206, norH3808 makeH7139 anyH7139 cuttings in their fleshH1320.

They shall be holyH6944 unto their GodH430, and notH3808 profaneH2490 the nameH8034 of their GodH430: for the offeringsH801 of the LORDH3068 madeH1961 by fireH801, the breadH3899 of their GodH430, they do offerH7126: therefore they shall be holyH6944.

They shall notH3808 takeH3947 a womanH802 that is a harlotH2181, or profaneH2491; neitherH3808 shall they takeH3947 a womanH802 putH3947 awayH3947 from herH3947 husbandH376: for he is holyH6918 unto his GodH430.

Thou shalt sanctifyH6942 him therefore; for he offereth the breadH3899 of thy GodH430: he shall be holyH6918 unto thee: for I the LORDH3068, whichH1931 sanctifyH6942 youH3588, am holyH6918.

And the daughterH1323 of anyH376 priestH3548, ifH3588 sheH1931 profaneH2490 herselfH1931 by playingH2181 the harlotH2181, sheH1931 profaneth herH3588 fatherH1: sheH1931 shall be burntH8313 with fireH784.

And he that is the highH1419 priestH3548 among his brethrenH251, uponH5921 whoseH834 headH7218 the anointingH4888 oilH8081 is pouredH3332, and that is consecrated to putH3847 on the garmentsH899, shall notH3808 letH3808 the hairH7218 of his headH7218 go looseH5921, norH3808 rend his clothesH899;

neitherH3808 shall he goH935 in to anyH3605 deadH4191 bodyH5315, norH3808 defileH2930 himselfH5315 for his fatherH1, or for his motherH517;

neitherH3808 shall he goH3318 outH3318 of the sanctuaryH4720, norH3808 profaneH2490 the sanctuaryH4720 of his GodH430; for the crownH5145 of the anointingH4888 oilH8081 of his GodH430 is uponH5921 him: I am the LORDH3068.

And he shall takeH3947 a wifeH802 in herH3947 virginityH1331.

A widowH490, or one divorcedH1644, or a profaneH2491 womanH802, an harlotH2181, theseH428 shall he notH3808 takeH3947: but a virginH1330 of his own peopleH5971 shall he takeH3947 to wifeH802.

And he shall notH3808 profaneH2490 his seedH2233 among his peopleH5971: for I am the LORDH3068 which sanctifyH6942 him.

And the LORDH3068 spake unto MosesH4872, sayingH559,

SpeakH1696 unto AaronH175, sayingH559, Whosoever he be of thy seedH2233 throughoutH1755 their generationsH1755 that hath a blemishH3971, letH1961 him notH3808 approachH7126 to offerH7126 the breadH3899 of his GodH430.

For whatsoeverH3605 manH376 he be that hath a blemishH3971, he shall notH3808 approachH7126: a blindH5787 manH376, or a lameH6455, or he that hath a flat nose, or anyH3605 thingH3588 superfluous,

or a manH376 that is brokenfooted, or brokenhanded,

or crookbackt, or a dwarfH1851, or that hath a blemish in his eyeH5869, or is scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his stones broken;

noH3808 manH376 of the seedH2233 of AaronH175 the priestH3548, that hath a blemishH3971, shall comeH7126 nigh to offerH7126 the offeringsH801 of the LORDH3068 madeH3605 by fireH801: he hath a blemishH3971; he shall notH3808 comeH7126 nigh to offerH7126 the breadH3899 of his GodH430.

He shall eatH398 the breadH3899 of his GodH430, bothH4480 of the mostH6944 holyH6944, and of the holyH6944.

OnlyH389 he shall notH3808 goH935 in unto the veilH6532, norH3808 comeH935 nigh unto the altarH4196, becauseH3588 he hath a blemishH3971; that he profaneH2490 notH3808 my sanctuariesH4720: for I am the LORDH3068 which sanctifyH6942 them.
