Revised Version 1895
Isaiah 47:9-13
9but theseH428 twoH8147 things shall comeH935 to thee in a momentH7281 in one dayH3117, the lossH7908 of childrenH7908, and widowhoodH489: in their fullH3117 measureH3966 shall they comeH935 uponH5921 thee, despiteH5921 of the multitudeH7230 of thy sorceriesH3785, and the greatH3966 abundanceH7230 of thine enchantments.
10For thou hast trustedH982 in thy wickednessH7451; thou hast saidH559, NoneH369 seeth meH7725; thy wisdomH2451 and thy knowledgeH1847, it hath perverted thee: and thou hast saidH559 in thine heartH3820, I am, and there is noneH369 elseH5750 beside meH7725.
11Therefore shall evilH7451 comeH935 uponH5921 thee; thou shalt notH3808 knowH3045 the dawningH7837 thereof: and mischief shall fallH5307 uponH5921 thee; thou shalt notH3808 be ableH3201 to putH935 it awayH5307: and desolation shall comeH935 uponH5921 thee suddenlyH6597, which thou knowest notH3808.
12StandH5975 nowH4994 with thine enchantments, and with the multitudeH7230 of thy sorceriesH3785, whereinH834 thou hast laboured from thy youthH5271; ifH834 soH834 be thou shalt be ableH3201 to profitH3276, ifH834 soH834 be thou mayest prevailH3201.
13Thou art weariedH3811 in the multitudeH7230 of thy counselsH6098: letH4994 nowH4994 the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthlyH2320 prognosticators, standH5975 upH5975, and saveH3467 thee from the things that shall comeH935 uponH5921 thee.
