Revised Version 1895
Isaiah 19:2-16
And I will stir up the EgyptiansH4714 againstH3898 the EgyptiansH4714: and they shall fightH3898 everyH376 one againstH3898 his brotherH251, and everyH376 one againstH3898 his neighbour; cityH5892 againstH3898 cityH5892, and kingdomH4467 againstH3898 kingdomH4467.
And the spiritH7307 of EgyptH4714 shall be madeH1875 void in the midstH7130 of it; and I will destroyH1104 the counselH6098 thereof: and they shall seekH1875 unto the idolsH457, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spiritsH7307, and to the wizards.
And I will giveH7186 over the EgyptiansH4714 intoH4714 the handH3027 of a cruelH7186 lordH3068; and a fierceH5794 kingH4428 shall ruleH4910 over them, saith the LordH3068, the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635.
And the watersH4325 shall fail from the seaH3220, and the riverH5104 shall be wasted and becomeH3001 dryH3001.
And the riversH5104 shall stink; the streamsH5104 of EgyptH4693 shall be minished and dried up: the reedsH7070 and flags shall witherH2717 awayH7060.
The meadows by the NileH2975, by the brink of the NileH2975, and allH3605 that is sownH4218 by the NileH2975, shall becomeH3001 dryH3001, be drivenH5086 awayH5086, and be noH369 moreH369.
The fishers also shall lamentH578, and allH3605 they that castH7993 angle intoH5921 the NileH2975 shall mournH56, and they that spreadH6566 nets uponH5921 the watersH4325 shall languishH535.
Moreover they that workH5647 in combedH8305 flaxH6593, and they that weaveH707 white cloth, shall be ashamedH954.
And herH3605 pillarsH8356 shall be broken in pieces, allH3605 they that work for hire shall be grievedH99 in soulH5315.
The princesH8269 of ZoanH6814 are utterlyH389 foolishH191; the counselH6098 of the wisestH2450 counsellors of PharaohH6547 is become brutish: howH349 sayH559 ye unto PharaohH6547, I am the sonH1121 of the wiseH2450, the sonH1121 of ancient kingsH4428?
WhereH335 then are thy wiseH2450 menH2450? and letH4994 them tellH5046 thee nowH4994; and letH4994 them knowH3045 whatH4100 the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635 hath purposedH3289 concerning EgyptH4714.
The princesH8269 of ZoanH6814 are becomeH2973 foolsH2973, the princesH8269 of Noph are deceivedH8582; they have caused EgyptH4714 to goH8582 astrayH8582, that are the cornerH6438 stone of her tribesH7626.
The LORDH3068 hath mingledH4537 a spiritH7307 of perverseness in the midstH7130 of herH3605: and they have caused EgyptH4714 to goH8582 astrayH8582 in everyH3605 workH4639 thereof, as a drunkenH7910 manH7910 staggereth in his vomitH6892.
NeitherH3808 shall there be for EgyptH4714 anyH1961 workH4639, whichH834 headH7218 or tailH2180, palmH3712 branchH3712 or rush, may doH6213.
It In that dayH3117 shall EgyptH4714 be like unto womenH802: and it shall trembleH2729 and fearH6342 becauseH5921 of the shaking of the handH3027 of the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635, whichH834 he shaketh over it.
