Revised Version 1895
Isaiah 14:4-19
that thou shalt takeH5375 upH5375 this parableH4912 againstH5921 the kingH4428 of BabylonH894, and sayH559, HowH349 hath the oppressorH5065 ceased! the golden city ceased!
The LORDH3068 hath brokenH7665 the staffH4294 of the wickedH7563, the sceptre of the rulersH4910;
that smoteH5221 the peoplesH5971 in wrathH5678 with a continual stroke, that ruled the nationsH1471 in angerH639, with a persecutionH4783 that none restrainedH2820.
The wholeH3605 earthH776 is at restH5117, and is quietH8252: they breakH6476 forthH6476 intoH776 singingH7440.
Yea, the firH1265 treesH1265 rejoiceH8055 at thee, and the cedarsH730 of LebanonH3844, saying, SinceH227 thou art laidH7901 downH7901, noH3808 feller is comeH5927 upH5927 againstH5921 usH5921.
Hell from beneathH8478 is movedH7264 for thee to meetH7125 thee at thy comingH935: it stirreth upH6965 the deadH7496 for thee, evenH776 allH3605 the chief ones of the earthH776; it hath raisedH6965 upH6965 from their thronesH3678 allH3605 the kingsH4428 of the nationsH1471.
AllH3605 they shall answerH6030 and sayH559 unto thee, Art thou also become weakH3605 as weH3605? art thou become like unto usH413?
Thy pomp is broughtH3381 downH3381 to hell, and the noise of thy viols: the wormH7415 is spreadH3331 underH8478 thee, and wormsH8438 cover thee.
HowH349 art thou fallenH5307 from heavenH8064, O dayH7837 starH1966, sonH1121 of the morningH7837! howH349 art thou cutH1438 downH5307 to the groundH776, whichH1471 didst layH5307 lowH776 the nationsH1471!
And thou saidst in thine heartH3824, I will ascendH5927 intoH5927 heavenH8064, I will exaltH7311 my throneH3678 aboveH4605 the starsH3556 of GodH410; and I will sitH3427 uponH3427 the mountH2022 of congregation, in the uttermost partsH3411 of the northH6828:
I will ascendH5927 aboveH5921 the heightsH1116 of the cloudsH5645; I will be like the Most HighH1116.
Yet thou shalt be broughtH3381 downH3381 to hell, to the uttermost partsH3411 of the pitH953.
They that seeH7200 thee shall narrowly lookH7200 uponH413 thee, they shall considerH7200 thee, saying, Is this the manH376 that made the earthH776 to trembleH7264, that didH376 shakeH7493 kingdomsH4467;
that madeH7760 the worldH8398 as a wildernessH4057, and overthrewH2040 the citiesH5892 thereof; that letH3808 notH3808 loose his prisonersH615 to their homeH1004?
AllH3605 the kingsH4428 of the nationsH1471, allH3605 of them, sleepH7901 in gloryH3519, everyH3605 one in his ownH376 houseH1004.
But thou art castH7993 forth awayH7993 from thy sepulchre like an abominableH8581 branchH5342, clothedH3830 with the slainH2026, that are thrustH3381 throughH413 with the swordH2719, that goH3381 downH3381 to the stonesH68 of the pitH953; as a carcase troddenH947 under foot.
