26But unto the kingH4428 of JudahH3063, who sentH7971 youH834 to inquireH1875 of the LORDH3068, thusH3541 shall ye sayH559 to him, ThusH3541 saith the LORDH3068, the GodH430 of IsraelH3478: As touching the wordsH1697 whichH834 thou hast heardH8085, 27becauseH5921 thine heartH3824 was tenderH7401, and thou didst humbleH3665 thyself beforeH6440 GodH430, when thou heardest his wordsH1697 againstH5921 this placeH4725, and againstH5921 the inhabitantsH3427 thereof, and hast humbledH3665 thyself beforeH6440 meH6440, and hast rent thy clothesH899, and weptH1058 beforeH6440 meH6440; I also have heardH8085 thee, saith the LORDH3068. 28BeholdH2005, I will gatherH622 thee to thy fathersH1, and thou shalt be gatheredH622 to thy graveH6913 in peaceH7965, neitherH3808 shall thine eyesH5869 seeH7200 allH3605 the evilH7451 that I will bringH935 uponH5921 this placeH4725, and uponH5921 the inhabitantsH3427 thereof. And they broughtH935 the kingH4428 wordH1697 againH7725. 29Then the kingH4428 sentH7971 and gatheredH622 togetherH622 allH3605 the eldersH2205 of JudahH3063 and JerusalemH3389. 30And the kingH4428 wentH5927 upH5927 to the houseH1004 of the LORDH3068, and allH3605 the menH376 of JudahH3063 and the inhabitantsH3427 of JerusalemH3389, and the priestsH3548, and the LevitesH3881, and allH3605 the peopleH5971, bothH3605 greatH1419 and smallH6996: and he readH7121 in their earsH241 allH3605 the wordsH1697 of the bookH5612 of the covenantH1285 that was foundH4672 in the houseH1004 of the LORDH3068. 31And the kingH4428 stoodH5975 in his placeH5977, and madeH6213 a covenantH1285 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068, to walk afterH310 the LORDH3068, and to keepH8104 his commandmentsH4687, and his testimoniesH5715, and his statutesH2706, with allH3605 his heartH3824, and with allH3605 his soulH5315, to performH8104 the wordsH1697 of the covenantH1285 that were writtenH3789 in this bookH5612. 32And he causedH430 allH3605 that were foundH4672 in JerusalemH3389 and BenjaminH1144 to standH5975 to it. And the inhabitantsH3427 of JerusalemH3389 didH6213 according to the covenantH1285 of GodH430, the GodH430 of their fathersH1. 33And JosiahH2977 tookH5493 awayH5493 allH3605 the abominationsH8441 outH3605 of allH3605 the countriesH776 that pertained to the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, and madeH3605 allH3605 that were foundH4672 in IsraelH3478 to serveH5647, evenH3808 to serveH5647 the LORDH3068 their GodH430. AllH3605 his daysH3117 they departedH5493 notH3808 from followingH310 the LORDH3068, the GodH430 of their fathersH1.
