Revised Version 1895
Chronicles 32:2-8
And when HezekiahH2396 sawH7200 that SennacheribH5576 was comeH935, and that he was purposed to fightH4421 againstH5921 JerusalemH3389,
he tookH853 counselH3289 with his princesH8269 and his mightyH1368 menH1368 to stopH5640 the watersH4325 of the fountainsH5869 whichH834 were without the cityH5892; and they helpedH5826 him.
SoH935 there was gatheredH6908 muchH7227 peopleH5971 togetherH6908, and they stoppedH5640 allH3605 the fountainsH4599, and the brookH5158 that flowedH7857 throughH8432 the midstH8432 of the landH776, sayingH559, WhyH4100 should the kingsH4428 of AssyriaH804 comeH935 and findH4672 muchH7227 waterH4325?
And he tookH2388 courageH2388, and builtH1129 upH5927 allH3605 the wallH2346 that was brokenH6555 downH6555, and raisedH5927 it upH5927 to the towersH4026, and the otherH312 wallH2346 without, and strengthenedH2388 MilloH4407 in the cityH5892 of DavidH1732, and madeH6213 weaponsH7973 and shieldsH4043 in abundanceH7230.
And he setH5414 captainsH8269 of warH4421 over the peopleH5971, and gatheredH6908 them togetherH6908 to him in the broad placeH5414 at the gateH8179 of the cityH5892, and spake comfortably to them, sayingH559,
Be strongH2388 and of a good courageH2388, be notH408 afraidH3372 norH408 dismayedH2865 for the kingH4428 of AssyriaH804, norH408 for allH3605 the multitudeH1995 that is with him: for there is a greaterH7227 with usH3588 thanH1995 with him:
with him is an armH2220 of fleshH1320; but with usH5921 is the LORDH3068 our GodH430 to helpH5826 usH5921, and to fightH3898 our battlesH4421. And the peopleH5971 restedH5564 themselvesH5921 uponH5921 the wordsH1697 of HezekiahH2396 kingH4428 of JudahH3063.
