Revised Version 1895
2 Chronicles 20:1-6
1And it cameH935 to passH935 afterH310 this, that the childrenH1121 of MoabH4124, and the childrenH1121 of AmmonH5983, and with them some of the AmmonitesH5984, cameH935 againstH5921 JehoshaphatH3092 to battleH4421.
2Then there cameH935 someH7227 that toldH5046 JehoshaphatH3092, sayingH559, There cometh a greatH7227 multitudeH1995 againstH5921 thee from beyondH5676 the seaH3220 from SyriaH758; and, beholdH2009, they be in Hazazon-tamarH2688 (the sameH1931 is En-gedi).
3And JehoshaphatH3092 fearedH3372, and setH5414 himselfH6440 to seekH1875 unto the LORDH3068; and he proclaimedH7121 a fastH6685 throughoutH3605 allH3605 JudahH3063.
4And JudahH3063 gatheredH6908 themselvesH6908 togetherH6908, to seekH1245 help of the LORDH3068: evenH1571 outH1245 of allH3605 the citiesH5892 of JudahH3063 they cameH935 to seekH1245 the LORDH3068.
5And JehoshaphatH3092 stoodH5975 in the congregationH6951 of JudahH3063 and JerusalemH3389, in the houseH1004 of the LORDH3068, beforeH6440 the newH2319 courtH2691;
6and he saidH559, O LORDH3068, the GodH430 of our fathersH1, art notH3808 thou GodH430 in heavenH8064? and art notH3808 thou rulerH4910 over allH3605 the kingdomsH4467 of the nationsH1471? and in thine handH3027 is powerH3027 and might, soH3808 that noneH369 is ableH3027 to withstand thee.
