10But the manהָאִישׁ֙ha.'IshH376wouldאָבָ֤ה'a.VahH14not tarry that nightלָל֔וּןla.LunH3885,but he rose upוַיָּ֣קָםvai.Ya.komH6965and departedH3212,and cameוַיָּבֹא֙vai.ya.Vo'H935over againstנֹ֣כַחNo.khachH5227Jebusיְב֔וּסye.VusH2982, which isJerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִָ֑םye.ru.sha.LimH3389; and there werewith him twoצֶ֤מֶדTze.medH6776donkeysחֲמוֹרִים֙cha.mo.RimH2543saddledחֲבוּשִׁ֔יםcha.vu.ShimH2280,his concubineוּפִילַגְשׁ֖וֹu.fi.lag.ShoH6370also was with him.

11And when they wereby Jebusיְב֔וּסye.VusH2982,the dayוְהַיּ֖וֹםve.hai.YomH3117was farמְאֹ֑דme.'OdH3966spentH7286;and the servantהַנַּ֜עַרha.Na.'arH5288saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto his masterאֲדֹנָ֗יו'a.do.NavH113,ComeH3212,I pray thee, and let us turn inוְנָס֛וּרָהve.na.Su.rahH5493into this cityעִֽיר־'ir-H5892of the Jebusitesהַיְבוּסִ֥יhay.vu.SiH2983,and lodgeוְנָלִ֥יןve.na.LinH3885in it.

12And his masterאֲדֹנָ֔יו'a.do.NavH113saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto him, We will not turn asideנָסוּר֙na.SurH5493hither into the cityעִ֣יר'irH5892of a strangerנָכְרִ֔יna.khe.RiH5237, that isnot of the childrenמִבְּנֵ֥יmi.be.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478;we will pass overוְעָבַ֖רְנוּve.'a.Var.nuH5674to Gibeahגִּבְעָֽה׃giv.'AhH1390.

13And he saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto his servantלְנַעֲר֔וֹle.na.'a.RoH5288,ComeH3212,and let us draw nearוְנִקְרְבָ֖הve.nik.re.VahH7126to oneבְּאַחַ֣דbe.'a.ChadH259of these placesהַמְּקֹמ֑וֹתha.me.ko.MotH4725to lodge all nightוְלַ֥נּוּve.La.nuH3885,in Gibeahבַגִּבְעָ֖הva.giv.'AhH1390,or in Ramahבָרָמָֽה׃va.ra.MahH7414.

14And they passed onוַיַּעַבְר֖וּvai.ya.'av.RuH5674and went their wayH3212;and the sunהַשֶּׁ֔מֶשׁha.She.meshH8121went downוַתָּבֹ֤אva.ta.Vo'H935upon them when they werebyאֵ֥צֶל'E.tzelH681Gibeahהַגִּבְעָ֖הha.giv.'AhH1390, which belongethto Benjaminלְבִנְיָמִֽן׃le.vin.ya.MinH1144.

15And they turned asideוַיָּסֻ֣רוּvai.ya.Su.ruH5493thither, to go inלָב֖וֹאla.Vo'H935andto lodgeלָל֣וּןla.LunH3885in Gibeahבַּגִּבְעָ֑הba.giv.'AhH1390:and when he went inוַיָּבֹ֗אvai.ya.Vo'H935,he sat him downוַיֵּ֙שֶׁב֙vai.Ye.shevH3427in a streetבִּרְח֣וֹבbir.ChovH7339of the cityהָעִ֔ירha.'IrH5892: for there wasno manאִ֛ישׁ'ishH376that tookמְאַסֵּֽף־me.'a.sef-H622them into his houseהַבַּ֖יְתָהha.Bay.tahH1004to lodgingלָלֽוּן׃la.LunH3885.
