3And the angelמַלְאַךְ־mal.'akh-H4397of Yhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068appearedוַיֵּרָ֥אvai.ye.Ra'H7200unto the womanהָאִשָּׁ֑הha.'i.ShahH802,and saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto her, Behold now, thou artbarrenעֲקָרָה֙'a.ka.RahH6135,and bearestיָלַ֔דְתְּya.LadtH3205not: but thou shalt conceiveוְהָרִ֖יתve.ha.RitH2029,and bearוְיָלַ֥דְתְּve.ya.LadtH3205a sonבֵּֽן׃BenH1121.

4Now therefore bewareהִשָּׁ֣מְרִיhi.Sha.me.riH8104,I pray thee, and drinkתִּשְׁתִּ֖יtish.TiH8354not wineיַ֣יִןYa.yinH3196nor strong drinkוְשֵׁכָ֑רve.she.KharH7941,and eatתֹּאכְלִ֖יtokh.LiH398not any uncleanטָמֵֽא׃ta.Me'H2931thing:

9And Godהָאֱלֹהִ֖יםha.'E.lo.HimH430hearkenedוַיִּשְׁמַ֥עvai.yish.Ma'H8085to the voiceבְּק֣וֹלbe.KolH6963of Manoahמָנ֑וֹחַma.No.achH4495;and the angelמַלְאַךְ֩mal.'aKhH4397of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֨יםha.'E.lo.HimH430came againוַיָּבֹ֣אvai.ya.Vo'H935unto the womanהָאִשָּׁ֗הha.'i.ShahH802as she satיוֹשֶׁ֣בֶתyo.She.vetH3427in the fieldבַּשָּׂדֶ֔הba.sa.DehH7704:but Manoahוּמָנ֥וֹחַu.ma.No.achH4495her husbandאִישָׁ֖הּ'i.ShahH376was not with her.

10And the womanהָֽאִשָּׁ֔הha.'i.ShahH802made hasteוַתְּמַהֵר֙va.te.ma.HerH4116,and ranוַתָּ֖רָץva.Ta.rotzH7323,and shewedוַתַּגֵּ֣דva.ta.GedH5046her husbandלְאִישָׁ֑הּle.'i.ShahH376,and saidוַתֹּ֣אמֶרva.To.merH559unto him, Behold, the manהָאִ֔ישׁha.'IshH376hath appearedנִרְאָ֤הnir.'AhH7200unto me, that cameבָּ֥אba'H935unto me the otherdayבַיּ֖וֹםvai.YomH3117.

11And Manoahמָנ֖וֹחַma.No.achH4495aroseוַיָּ֛קָםvai.Ya.komH6965,and wentH3212afterאַחֲרֵ֣י'a.cha.ReiH310his wifeאִשְׁתּ֑וֹ'ish.ToH802,and cameוַיָּבֹא֙vai.ya.Vo'H935to the manהָאִ֔ישׁha.'IshH376,and saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto him, Artthou the manהָאִ֛ישׁha.'IshH376that spakestדִּבַּ֥רְתָּdi.Bar.taH1696unto the womanהָאִשָּׁ֖הha.'i.ShahH802?And he saidוַיֹּ֥אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, I am.

13And the angelמַלְאַ֥ךְmal.'AkhH4397of Yhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּ֛אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto Manoahמָנ֑וֹחַma.No.achH4495,Of all that I saidאָמַ֥רְתִּי'a.Mar.tiH559unto the womanהָאִשָּׁ֖הha.'i.ShahH802let her bewareתִּשָּׁמֵֽר׃ti.sha.MerH8104.

14She may not eatתֹאכַ֗לto.KhalH398of any thingthat comethיֵצֵא֩ye.Tze'H3318of the vineמִגֶּ֨פֶןmi.Ge.fenH1612,neither let her drinkתֵּ֔שְׁתְּTe.shetH8354wineH3196or strong drinkוְשֵׁכָר֙ve.she.KharH7941,nor eatתֹּאכַ֑לto.KhalH398any uncleanטֻמְאָ֖הtum.'AhH2932thing:all that I commandedצִוִּיתִ֖יהָtzi.vi.Ti.haH6680her let her observeתִּשְׁמֹֽר׃tish.MorH8104.

15And Manoahמָנ֖וֹחַma.No.achH4495saidוַיֹּ֥אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto the angelמַלְאַ֣ךְmal.'AkhH4397of Yhwhיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,I pray thee, let us detainנַעְצְרָה־na'.tze.rah-H6113thee, until we shall have made readyוְנַעֲשֶׂ֥הve.na.'a.SehH6213a kidגְּדִ֥י עִזִּֽים׃ge.Di 'i.ZimH5795 H1423forלְפָנֶ֖יךָle.fa.Nei.khaH6440thee.

16And the angelמַלְאַ֨ךְmal.'AkhH4397of Yhwhיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּאמֶר֩vai.yo.MerH559unto Manoahמָנ֗וֹחַma.No.achH4495,Though thou detainתַּעְצְרֵ֙נִי֙ta'.tze.Re.niH6113me, I will not eatאֹכַ֣ל'o.KhalH398of thy breadבְּלַחְמֶ֔ךָbe.lach.Me.khaH3899:and ifH518thou wilt offerתַּעֲשֶׂ֣הta.'a.SehH6213a burnt offeringעֹלָ֔ה'o.LahH5930,thou must offerתַּעֲלֶ֑נָּהta.'a.Le.nahH5927it unto Yhwhלַיהוָ֖הla.Yah.wehH3068.For Manoahמָנ֔וֹחַma.No.achH4495knewיָדַ֣עya.Da'H3045not that he wasan angelמַלְאַ֥ךְmal.'AkhH4397of Yhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068.

17And Manoahמָנ֛וֹחַma.No.achH4495saidוַיֹּ֧אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto the angelמַלְאַ֥ךְmal.'AkhH4397of Yhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068, What isthy nameשְׁמֶ֑ךָshe.Me.khaH8034,that when thy sayingsדְבָרְךָ֖div.rei.khaH1697come to passיָבֹ֥אya.Vo'H935we may do thee honourוְכִבַּדְנֽוּךָ׃ve.khi.bad.Nu.khaH3513?

18And the angelמַלְאַ֣ךְmal.'AkhH4397of Yhwhיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto him, Why askestתִּשְׁאַ֣לtish.'AlH7592thou thus after my nameלִשְׁמִ֑יlish.MiH8034, seeing it issecretפֶ֛לִאי׃ סFe.liH6383?

19So Manoahמָנ֜וֹחַma.No.achH4495tookוַיִּקַּ֨חvai.yi.KachH3947a kidגְּדִ֤י הָעִזִּים֙ge.Di ha.'i.ZimH5795 H1423with a grain offeringהַמִּנְחָ֔הha.min.ChahH4503,and offeredוַיַּ֥עַלvai.Ya.'alH5927itupon a rockהַצּ֖וּרha.TzurH6697unto Yhwhלַֽיהוָ֑הla.Yah.wehH3068: and the angeldidלַעֲשׂ֔וֹתla.'a.SotH6213wondrouslyוּמַפְלִ֣אu.maf.Li'H6381;and Manoahוּמָנ֥וֹחַu.ma.No.achH4495and his wifeוְאִשְׁתּ֖וֹve.'ish.ToH802looked onרֹאִֽים׃ro.'ImH7200.

20For it came to pass, when the flameהַלַּ֜הַבha.La.havH3851went upבַעֲל֨וֹתva.'a.LotH5927toward heavenהַשָּׁמַ֔יְמָהha.sha.May.mahH8064from off the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֙חַ֙ha.miz.Be.achH4196,that the angelמַלְאַךְ־mal.'akh-H4397of Yhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068ascendedוַיַּ֥עַלvai.Ya.'alH5927in the flameבְּלַ֣הַבbe.La.havH3851of the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַha.miz.Be.achH4196.And Manoahוּמָנ֤וֹחַu.ma.No.achH4495and his wifeוְאִשְׁתּוֹ֙ve.'ish.ToH802looked onרֹאִ֔יםro.'ImH7200it,and fell onוַיִּפְּל֥וּvai.yi.pe.LuH5307their facesפְּנֵיהֶ֖םpe.nei.HemH6440to the groundאָֽרְצָה׃'A.re.tzahH776.

21But the angelמַלְאַ֣ךְmal.'AkhH4397of Yhwhיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068did no moreיָ֤סַףYa.safH3254appearלְהֵרָאֹ֖הle.he.ra.'OhH7200to Manoahמָנ֣וֹחַma.No.achH4495and to his wifeאִשְׁתּ֑וֹ'ish.ToH802.Then Manoahמָנ֔וֹחַma.No.achH4495knewיָדַ֣עya.Da'H3045that he wasan angelמַלְאַ֥ךְmal.'AkhH4397of Yhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068.

22And Manoahמָנ֛וֹחַma.No.achH4495saidוַיֹּ֧אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto his wifeאִשְׁתּ֖וֹ'ish.ToH802,We shall surelyמ֣וֹתMotH4191dieנָמ֑וּתna.MutH4191,because we have seenרָאִֽינוּ׃ra.'I.nuH7200Godאֱלֹהִ֖ים'E.lo.HimH430.

23But his wifeאִשְׁתּ֗וֹ'ish.ToH802saidוַתֹּ֧אמֶרva.To.merH559unto him, Ifלוּ֩luH3863Yhwhיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068were pleasedחָפֵ֨ץcha.FetzH2654to killלַהֲמִיתֵ֙נוּ֙la.ha.mi.Te.nuH4191us, he would not have receivedלָקַ֤חla.KachH3947a burnt offeringעֹלָ֣ה'o.LahH5930and a grain offeringוּמִנְחָ֔הu.min.ChahH4503at our handsמִיָּדֵ֙נוּ֙mi.ya.De.nuH3027,neither would he have shewedהֶרְאָ֖נוּher.'A.nuH7200us all these things,nor would as at this timeוְכָעֵ֕תve.kha.'EtH6256have toldהִשְׁמִיעָ֖נוּhish.mi.'A.nuH8085us such thingsas theseכָּזֹֽאת׃ka.ZotH2063.
