2The fountainsמַעְיְנֹ֣תma'.ye.NotH4599also of the deepתְּה֔וֹםte.HomH8415and the windowsוַֽאֲרֻבֹּ֖תva.'a.ru.BotH699of heavenהַשָּׁמָ֑יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064were stoppedוַיִּסָּֽכְרוּ֙vai.yi.sa.khe.RuH5534,and the rainהַגֶּ֖שֶׁםha.Ge.shemH1653from heavenהַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃ha.sha.Ma.yimH8064was restrainedוַיִּכָּלֵ֥אvai.yi.ka.Le'H3607;

3And the watersהַמַּ֛יִםha.Ma.yimH4325returnedוַיָּשֻׁ֧בוּvai.ya.Shu.vuH7725from off the earthהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776continuallyהָל֣וֹךְ וָשׁ֑וֹבha.Lokh va.ShovH7725 H1980:and after the endמִקְצֵ֕הmik.TzehH7097of the hundredוּמְאַ֖תu.me.'AtH3967and fiftyחֲמִשִּׁ֥יםcha.mi.ShimH2572daysיֽוֹם׃YomH3117the watersהַמַּ֔יִםha.Ma.yimH4325were abatedוַיַּחְסְר֣וּvai.yach.se.RuH2637.

6And it came to pass at the endמִקֵּ֖ץmi.KetzH7093of fortyאַרְבָּעִ֣ים'ar.ba.'ImH705daysי֑וֹםYomH3117,that Noahנֹ֔חַNo.achH5146openedוַיִּפְתַּ֣חvai.yif.TachH6605the windowחַלּ֥וֹןcha.LonH2474of the arkהַתֵּבָ֖הha.te.VahH8392which he had madeעָשָֽׂה׃'a.SahH6213:

7And he sent forthוַיְשַׁלַּ֖חvay.sha.LachH7971a ravenהָֽעֹרֵ֑בha.'o.RevH6158,which went forthוַיֵּצֵ֤אvai.ye.Tze'H3318toיָצוֹא֙ya.tzO'H3318and froוָשׁ֔וֹבva.ShovH7725,until the watersהַמַּ֖יִםha.Ma.yimH4325were dried upיְבֹ֥שֶׁתye.Vo.shetH3001from off the earthהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776.

8Also he sent forthוַיְשַׁלַּ֥חvay.sha.LachH7971a doveהַיּוֹנָ֖הhai.yo.NahH3123from him, to seeלִרְאוֹת֙lir.'OtH7200if the watersהַמַּ֔יִםha.Ma.yimH4325were abatedהֲקַ֣לּוּha.Ka.luH7043from off the faceפְּנֵ֥יpe.NeiH6440of the groundהָֽאֲדָמָֽה׃Ha.'a.da.MahH127;

9But the doveהַיּוֹנָ֨הhai.yo.NahH3123foundמָצְאָה֩ma.tze.'AhH4672no restמָנ֜וֹחַma.No.achH4494for the soleלְכַף־le.khaf-H3709of her footרַגְלָ֗הּrag.LahH7272,and she returnedוַתָּ֤שָׁבva.Ta.shovH7725unto him into the arkהַתֵּבָ֔הha.te.VahH8392,for the watersמַ֖יִםMa.yimH4325wereon the faceפְּנֵ֣יpe.NeiH6440of the whole earthהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776:then he put forthוַיִּשְׁלַ֤חvai.yish.LachH7971his handיָדוֹ֙ya.DoH3027,and took herוַיִּקָּחֶ֔הָvai.yi.ka.Che.haH3947,and pulled her inוַיָּבֵ֥אvai.ya.Ve'H935unto him into the arkהַתֵּבָֽה׃ha.te.VahH8392.

10And he stayedוַיָּ֣חֶלvai.Ya.chelH2342yet otherאֲחֵרִ֑ים'a.che.RimH312sevenשִׁבְעַ֥תshiv.'AtH7651daysיָמִ֖יםya.MimH3117;and againוַיֹּ֛סֶףvai.Yo.sefH3254he sent forthשַׁלַּ֥חsha.LachH7971the doveהַיּוֹנָ֖הhai.yo.NahH3123out of the arkהַתֵּבָֽה׃ha.te.VahH8392;
