2And there wasof the houseוּלְבֵ֨יתu.le.VeitH1004of Saulשָׁא֥וּלsha.'UlH7586a servantעֶ֙בֶד֙'e.vedH5650whose nameוּשְׁמ֣וֹu.she.MoH8034wasZibaצִיבָ֔אtzi.Va'H6717.And when they had calledוַיִּקְרְאוּ־vai.yik.re.'u-H7121him unto Davidדָּוִ֑דda.VidH1732,the kingהַמֶּ֧לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto him, Artthou Zibaצִיבָ֖אtzi.Va'H6717?And he saidוַיֹּ֥אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,Thy servantעַבְדֶּֽךָ׃'av.De.khaH5650is he.

3And the kingהַמֶּ֗לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, Isthere notהַאֶ֨פֶסha.'E.fesH657yet anyאִישׁ֙'ishH376of the houseלְבֵ֣יתle.VeitH1004of Saulשָׁא֔וּלsha.'UlH7586,that I may shewוְאֶעֱשֶׂ֥הve.'e.'e.SehH6213the kindnessחֶ֣סֶדChe.sedH2617of Godאֱלֹהִ֑ים'E.lo.HimH430unto him? And Zibaצִיבָא֙tzi.Va'H6717saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto the kingהַמֶּ֔לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428,Jonathanלִיהוֹנָתָ֖ןli.ho.na.TanH3083hath yet a sonבֵּ֥ןbenH1121, which islameנְכֵ֥הne.KhehH5223on hisfeetרַגְלָֽיִם׃rag.La.yimH7272.

4And the kingהַמֶּ֖לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428saidוַיֹּֽאמֶר־vai.yo.mer-H559unto him, Whereאֵיפֹ֣ה'ei.FohH375ishe? And Zibaצִיבָא֙tzi.Va'H6717saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto the kingהַמֶּ֔לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428, Behold, he isin the houseבֵּ֛יתbeitH1004of Machirמָכִ֥ירma.KhirH4353,the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Ammielעַמִּיאֵ֖ל'a.mi.'ElH5988,in Lo–debarH3810.

5Then kingהַמֶּ֣לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428Davidדָּוִ֑דda.VidH1732sentוַיִּשְׁלַ֖חvai.yish.LachH7971,and fetchedוַיִּקָּחֵ֗הוּvai.yi.ka.Che.huH3947him out of the houseמִבֵּ֛יתmi.BeitH1004of Machirמָכִ֥ירma.KhirH4353,the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Ammielעַמִּיאֵ֖ל'a.mi.'ElH5988,from Lo–debarH3810.

6Now when Mephiboshethמְפִיבֹ֨שֶׁתme.fi.Vo.shetH4648,the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Jonathanיְהוֹנָתָ֤ןye.ho.na.TanH3083,the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Saulשָׁאוּל֙sha.'UlH7586,was comeוַ֠יָּבֹאVai.ya.vo'H935unto Davidדָּוִ֔דda.VidH1732,he fellוַיִּפֹּ֥לvai.yi.PolH5307on his faceפָּנָ֖יוpa.NavH6440,and did reverenceוַיִּשְׁתָּ֑חוּvai.yish.Ta.chuH7812.And Davidדָּוִד֙da.VidH1732saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,Mephiboshethמְפִיבֹ֔שֶׁתme.fi.Vo.shetH4648.And he answeredוַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,Behold thy servantעַבְדֶּֽךָ׃'av.De.khaH5650!

7And Davidדָוִ֜דda.VidH1732saidוַיֹּאמֶר֩vai.yo.MerH559unto him, Fearתִּירָ֗אti.Ra'H3372not: for I will surelyעָשֹׂה֩'a.SohH6213shewאֶעֱשֶׂ֨ה'e.'e.SehH6213thee kindnessחֶ֙סֶד֙che.sedH2617for Jonathanיְהוֹנָתָ֣ןye.ho.na.TanH3083thy father’sאָבִ֔יךָ'a.Vi.khaH1sake, and will restoreוַהֲשִׁבֹתִ֣יva.ha.shi.vo.TiH7725thee all the landשְׂדֵ֖הse.DehH7704of Saulשָׁא֣וּלsha.'UlH7586thy fatherאָבִ֑יךָ'a.Vi.khaH1;and thou shalt eatתֹּ֥אכַלTo.khalH398breadלֶ֛חֶםLe.chemH3899at my tableשֻׁלְחָנִ֖יshul.cha.NiH7979continuallyתָּמִֽיד׃ta.MidH8548.

8And he bowedוַיִּשְׁתַּ֕חוּvai.yish.Ta.chuH7812himself, and saidוַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, What isthy servantעַבְדֶּ֑ךָ'av.De.khaH5650,that thou shouldest lookפָנִ֔יתָfa.Ni.taH6437upon such a deadהַמֵּ֖תha.MetH4191dogהַכֶּ֥לֶבha.Ke.levH3611as I am?

9Then the kingהַמֶּ֗לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428calledוַיִּקְרָ֣אvai.yik.Ra'H7121to Zibaצִיבָ֛אtzi.Va'H6717,Saul’sשָׁא֖וּלsha.'UlH7586servantנַ֥עַרNa.'arH5288,and saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto him, I have givenנָתַ֖תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414unto thy master’sאֲדֹנֶֽיךָ׃'a.do.Nei.khaH113sonלְבֶן־le.ven-H1121all that pertainedהָיָ֤הha.YahH1961to Saulלְשָׁאוּל֙le.sha.'UlH7586and to all his houseבֵּית֔וֹbei.ToH1004.

10Thou therefore, and thy sonsוּבָנֶ֨יךָu.va.Nei.khaH1121,and thy servantsוַעֲבָדֶ֜יךָva.'a.va.Dei.khaH5650,shall tillוְעָבַ֣דְתָּve.'a.Vad.taH5647the landהָאֲדָמָ֡הha.'a.da.MahH127for him, and thou shalt bringוְהֵבֵ֗אתָve.he.Ve.taH935in the fruits,that thy master’sאֲדֹנֶ֤יךָ'a.do.Nei.khaH113sonלְבֶן־le.ven-H1121may have foodלֶּ֙חֶם֙le.chemH3899to eatוַאֲכָל֔וֹva.'a.kha.LoH398:but Mephiboshethוּמְפִיבֹ֙שֶׁת֙u.me.fi.Vo.shetH4648thy master’sאֲדֹנֶ֔יךָ'a.do.Nei.khaH113sonבֶּן־ben-H1121shall eatיֹאכַ֥לyo.KhalH398breadלֶ֖חֶםLe.chemH3899alwayתָּמִ֛ידta.MidH8548at my tableשֻׁלְחָנִ֑יshul.cha.NiH7979.Now Zibaוּלְצִיבָ֗אu.le.tzi.Va'H6717had fifteenחֲמִשָּׁ֥ה עָשָׂ֛רcha.mi.Shah 'a.SarH6240 H2568sonsבָּנִ֖יםba.NimH1121and twentyוְעֶשְׂרִ֥יםve.'es.RimH6242servantsעֲבָדִֽים׃'a.va.DimH5650.

11Then saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559Zibaצִיבָא֙tzi.Va'H6717unto the kingהַמֶּ֔לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428,According to all that my lordאֲדֹנִ֤י'a.do.NiH113the kingהַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ha.Me.lekhH4428hath commandedיְצַוֶּ֜הye.tza.VehH6680his servantעַבְדּ֔וֹav.DoH5650,so shall thy servantעַבְדֶּ֑ךָ'av.De.khaH5650doיַעֲשֶׂ֣הya.'a.SehH6213.As for Mephiboshethוּמְפִיבֹ֗שֶׁתu.me.fi.Vo.shetH4648, said the king,he shall eatאֹכֵל֙'o.KhelH398at my tableשֻׁלְחָנִ֔יshul.cha.NiH7979,as oneכְּאַחַ֖דke.'a.ChadH259of the king’sהַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ha.Me.lekhH4428sonsמִבְּנֵ֥יmi.be.NeiH1121.

12And Mephiboshethוְלִמְפִיבֹ֥שֶׁתve.lim.fi.Vo.shetH4648had a youngקָטָ֖ןka.TanH6996sonבֵּן־ben-H1121,whose nameוּשְׁמ֣וֹu.she.MoH8034wasMichaמִיכָ֑אmi.Kha'H4316.And all that dweltמוֹשַׁ֣בmo.ShavH4186in the houseבֵּית־beit-H1004of Zibaצִיבָ֔אtzi.Va'H6717wereservantsעֲבָדִ֖ים'a.va.DimH5650unto Mephiboshethלִמְפִיבֹֽשֶׁת׃lim.fi.Vo.shetH4648.

13So Mephiboshethוּמְפִיבֹ֗שֶׁתu.me.fi.Vo.shetH4648dweltיֹשֵׁב֙yo.ShevH3427in Jerusalemבִּיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔םbi.Ru.sha.LimH3389:for he did eatאֹכֵ֑ל'o.KhelH398continuallyתָּמִ֖ידta.MidH8548at the king’sהַמֶּ֛לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428tableשֻׁלְחַ֥ןshul.ChanH7979;and was lameפִסֵּ֖חַpi.Se.achH6455on bothשְׁתֵּ֥יshe.TeiH8147his feetרַגְלָֽיו׃ פrag.LavH7272.
