24And Davidוְדָוִ֥דve.da.VidH1732satיוֹשֵׁ֖בyo.ShevH3427between the twoשְׁנֵ֣יshe.NeiH8147gatesהַשְּׁעָרִ֑יםha.she.'a.RimH8179:and the watchmanהַצֹּפֶ֜הha.tzo.PehH6822went upH3212to the roofגַּ֤גgagH1406over the gateהַשַּׁ֙עַר֙ha.Sha.'arH8179unto the wallהַ֣חוֹמָ֔הha.cho.MahH2346,and lifted upוַיִּשָּׂ֤אvai.yi.Sa'H5375his eyesעֵינָיו֙'ei.NavH5869,and lookedוַיַּ֔רְאvai.Yar'H7200,and behold a manאִ֖ישׁ'ishH376runningרָ֥ץratzH7323alone.

25And the watchmanהַצֹּפֶה֙ha.tzo.PehH6822criedוַיִּקְרָ֤אvai.yik.Ra'H7121,and toldוַיַּגֵּ֣דvai.ya.GedH5046the kingלַמֶּ֔לֶךְla.Me.lekhH4428.And the kingהַמֶּ֔לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, If he be alone, there istidingsבְּשׂוֹרָ֣הbe.so.RahH1309in his mouthבְּפִ֑יוbe.FivH6310.And he cameH3212apaceH1980,and drew nearוְקָרֵֽב׃ve.ka.RevH7131.

26And the watchmanהַצֹּפֶה֮ha.tzo.PehH6822sawוַיַּ֣רְאvai.Yar'H7200anotherאַחֵ֣ר'a.CherH312manאִישׁ־'ish-H376runningרָץ֒ratzH7323:and the watchmanהַצֹּפֶה֙ha.tzo.PehH6822calledוַיִּקְרָ֤אvai.yik.Ra'H7121unto the porterהַשֹּׁעֵ֔רha.sho.'ErH7778,and saidוַיֹּ֕אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, Behold anothermanאִ֖ישׁ'ishH376runningרָ֣ץratzH7323alone. And the kingהַמֶּ֖לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428saidוַיֹּ֥אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,He also bringeth tidingsמְבַשֵּֽׂר׃me.va.SerH1319.
