11Then Davidדָּוִ֛דda.VidH1732took holdוַיַּחֲזֵ֥קvai.ya.cha.ZekH2388on his clothesבִּבְגָדָ֖יוbiv.ga.dovH899,and rentוַיִּקְרָעֵ֑םvai.yik.ra.'EmH7167them; and likewise all the menהָאֲנָשִׁ֖יםha.'a.na.ShimH582that were with him:

12And they mournedוַֽיִּסְפְּדוּ֙vai.yis.pe.DuH5594,and weptוַיִּבְכּ֔וּvai.yiv.KuH1058,and fastedוַיָּצֻ֖מוּvai.ya.Tzu.muH6684until evenהָעָ֑רֶבha.'A.revH6153,for Saulשָׁא֞וּלsha.'UlH7586,and for Jonathanיְהוֹנָתָ֣ןye.ho.na.TanH3083his sonבְּנ֗וֹbe.NoH1121,and for the peopleעַ֤ם'amH5971of Yhwhיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068,and for the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478;because they were fallenנָפְל֖וּna.fe.LuH5307by the swordבֶּחָֽרֶב׃ סbe.Cha.revH2719.
