1 Chronicles 11:10-47

101Now theseH428 are the headsH7218 of the mightyH1368 menH1368 whomH834 DavidH1732 had, who remainedH2388 faithfulH2388 to him in his kingdomH4438, togetherH5973 withH5973 allH3605 IsraelH3478, to makeH4427 him kingH4427, 2in accordance with the wordH1697 of the LordH3068 concerningH5921 IsraelH3478. 11TheseH428 constitute the listH4557 of David’sH1732 mightyH1368 menH1368: 3JashobeamH3434, the sonH1121 of a HachmoniteH2453, 4the chiefH7218 of the thirtyH7970; he wieldedH5782 his spearH2595 againstH5921 threeH7969 hundredH3967 5whom he killedH2491 at oneH259 timeH6471.

12AfterH310 him was EleazarH499 the sonH1121 of 6DodoH1734, the AhohiteH266, whoH1931 was 7one of the threeH7969 mightyH1368 menH1368. 13He was with DavidH1732 at 8Pas-dammimH6450 9when the PhilistinesH6430 were gatheredH622 together thereH8033 to battleH4421, and there was a plotH2513 of landH7704 fullH4392 of barleyH8184; and the peopleH5971 fledH5127 fromH4480 the PhilistinesH6430. 14But they tookH3320 their standH3320 in the midstH8432 of the plotH2513 and defendedH5337 it, and defeatedH5221 the PhilistinesH6430; and the LordH3068 savedH3467 them with a greatH1419 10victoryH8668.

15Now threeH7969 of the thirtyH7970 chiefH7218 menH7218 wentH3381 downH3381 to the rockH6697 to DavidH1732, into the caveH4631 of AdullamH5725, while 11the armyH4264 of the PhilistinesH6430 was campingH2583 in the ValleyH6010 of RephaimH7497. 16DavidH1732 was thenH227 in the strongholdH4686, while 12the garrisonH5333 of the PhilistinesH6430 was thenH227 in BethlehemH1035. 17And DavidH1732 hadH183 a cravingH183 and saidH559, “OhH4310 that someoneH4310 would giveH8248 me waterH4325 toH8248 drinkH8248 from the wellH953 of BethlehemH1035, whichH834 is by the gateH8179!” 18So the threeH7969 brokeH1234 throughH1234 the campH4264 of the PhilistinesH6430 and drewH7579 waterH4325 from the wellH953 of BethlehemH1035 whichH834 was by the gateH8179, and tookH5375 it and broughtH935 it to DavidH1732; however, DavidH1732 wouldH14 not drinkH8354 it, but pouredH5258 it outH5258 to the LordH3068; 19and he saidH559, “FarH2486 be it from me beforeH4480 my GodH430 that I would doH6213 thisH2088. Shall I drinkH8354 the bloodH1818 of theseH428 menH376 who went 13at the risk of their livesH5315? For they broughtH935 it at the risk of their livesH5315.” Therefore he wouldH14 not drinkH8354 it. The threeH7969 mightyH1368 menH1368 didH6213 theseH428 thingsH428.

20As for 14AbshaiH52 the brotherH251 of JoabH3097, he was chiefH7218 of the 15thirtyH7970, and he wieldedH5782 his spearH2595 againstH5921 threeH7969 hundredH3967 16and killedH2491 them; and he had a nameH8034 17as well as the 18thirtyH7970. 21Of the threeH7969 in the secondH8147 rank he was the mostH4480 honoredH3513, and he becameH1961 their commanderH8269; however, he did not attainH935 the reputation of the first threeH7969.

2219BenaiahH1141 the sonH1121 of JehoiadaH3077, the sonH1121 of a warriorH376H2428 of KabzeelH6909, mightyH7227 in deedsH6467, struckH5221 andH5221 killedH5221 the 20twoH8147 sons of ArielH739 of MoabH4124. He also wentH3381 downH3381 and struckH5221 andH5221 killedH5221 a lionH738 insideH8432 a pitH953 on a snowyH7950 dayH3117. 23And he killedH5221 an EgyptianH4713, a manH376 of great statureH4060 21fiveH2568 cubitsH520 tall. Now in the Egyptian’sH4713 handH3027 was 22a spearH2595 like a weaver’sH707 beamH4500, but he wentH3381 downH3381 to him with a clubH7626 and snatchedH1497 the spearH2595 from the Egyptian’sH4713 handH3027 and killedH2026 him with his own spearH2595. 24BenaiahH1141 the sonH1121 of JehoiadaH3077 didH6213 theseH428 thingsH428, and had a nameH8034 23as well as the threeH7969 mightyH1368 menH1368. 25BeholdH2009, he was honoredH3513 amongH4480 the thirtyH7970, but he did not attainH935 the reputation of the first threeH7969; and DavidH1732 appointedH7760 him overH5921 his bodyguardH4928.

26Now the mightyH1368 menH1368 of the armiesH2428 were AsahelH6214 the brotherH251 of JoabH3097, ElhananH445 the sonH1121 of DodoH1734 of BethlehemH1035, 2724ShammothH8054 the HaroriteH2033, HelezH2503 the 25PeloniteH6397, 28IraH5896 the sonH1121 of IkkeshH6142 the TekoiteH8621, AbiezerH44 the AnathothiteH6069, 2926SibbecaiH5444 the HushathiteH2843, 27IlaiH5866 the AhohiteH266, 30MaharaiH4121 the NetophathiteH5200, 28HeledH2466 the sonH1121 of BaanahH1196 the NetophathiteH5200, 31IthaiH863 the sonH1121 of RibaiH7380 of GibeahH1390 of the sonsH1121 of BenjaminH1144, BenaiahH1141 the PirathoniteH6553, 3229HuraiH2360 of the brooksH5158 of GaashH1608, 30AbielH22 the ArbathiteH6164, 33AzmavethH5820 the BaharumiteH978, EliahbaH455 the ShaalboniteH8170, 34the sonsH1121 of 31HashemH2044 the GizoniteH1493, JonathanH3083 the sonH1121 of ShageeH7681 the HarariteH2043, 35AhiamH279 the sonH1121 of 32SacarH7940 the HarariteH2043, 33EliphalH465 the sonH1121 of UrH218, 36HepherH2660 the MecherathiteH4382, AhijahH281 the PeloniteH6397, 37HezroH2695 the Carmelite, 34NaaraiH5293 the sonH1121 of EzbaiH229, 38JoelH3100 the brotherH251 of NathanH5416, MibharH4006 the sonH1121 of HagriH1905, 39ZelekH6768 the AmmoniteH5984, NaharaiH5171 the BerothiteH1307, the armorH3627 bearerH5375 of JoabH3097 the sonH1121 of ZeruiahH6870, 40IraH5896 the IthriteH3505, GarebH1619 the IthriteH3505, 41UriahH223 the HittiteH2850, ZabadH2066 the sonH1121 of AhlaiH304, 42AdinaH5721 the sonH1121 of ShizaH7877 the ReubeniteH7206, a chiefH7218 of the ReubenitesH7206, and thirtyH7970 with him, 43HananH2605 the sonH1121 of MaacahH4601 and JoshaphatH3092 the MithniteH4981, 44UzziaH5814 the AshterathiteH6254, ShamaH8091 and JeielH3262 the sonsH1121 of HothamH2369 the AroeriteH6200, 45JediaelH3043 the sonH1121 of ShimriH8113 and his brotherH251 JohaH3109 the TiziteH8491, 46ElielH447 the MahaviteH4233, and JeribaiH3403 and JoshaviahH3145, the sonsH1121 of ElnaamH493, IthmahH3495 the MoabiteH4125, 47ElielH447, ObedH5744, and JaasielH3300 the MezobaiteH4677.
