Micah 5:7-14

7Then the 1remnant of Jacob Will be among many peoples Like 2dew from the Lord, Like 3showers on vegetation That do not wait for man, Or delay for 4mankind.8The remnant of Jacob Will be among the nations, Among many peoples 5Like a lion among the animals of the forest, Like a young lion among flocks of sheep, Which, if he passes through, 6Tramples and 7tears, And there is 8no one who can rescue.9Your hand will be 9lifted up against your adversaries, And all your enemies will be eliminated.

10“And it will be on that day,” declares the Lord, “10That I will eliminate your 11horses from among you, And destroy your chariots.11I will also eliminate the 12cities of your land, And tear down all your 13fortifications.12I will eliminate 14sorceries from your hand, And you will have no fortune-tellers.13 15I will eliminate your carved images And your memorial stones from among you, So that you will no longer bow down To the work of your hands.14I will uproot your 16 17Asherim from among you, And destroy your cities.
