Matthew 4:15-25

15“1The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, 2By the way of the sea, on the other side of the Jordan, Galilee of the 3Gentiles--164The people who were sitting in darkness saw a great Light, And those who were sitting in the land and shadow of death, Upon them a Light dawned.”

175From that time Jesus began to 6preach and say, “7Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”

188Now as Jesus was walking by 9the Sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers, 10Simon, who was called Peter, and his brother Andrew, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. 19And He said to them, “11Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of people.” 20Immediately they left their nets and followed Him. 21Going on from there He saw two other brothers, 1213James the son of Zebedee, and his brother 14John, in the boat with their father Zebedee, mending their nets; and He called them. 22Immediately they left the boat and their father, and followed Him.

23Jesus was going 15about in all of Galilee, 16teaching in their synagogues and 17proclaiming the 18gospel of the kingdom, and 19healing every disease and every sickness among the people.

24And the news about Him spread 20throughout Syria; and they brought to Him all who were ill, those suffering with various diseases and severe pain, 21demon-possessed, people with 22epilepsy, and people who were 23paralyzed; and He healed them. 25Large crowds 24followed Him from Galilee and 25the Decapolis, and Jerusalem, and Judea, and from 26beyond the Jordan.
