Matthew 26:31-35
31Then Jesus said to them, “You will all 12fall away because of Me this night, for it is written: ‘3I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be 4scattered.’ 32But after I have been raised, 5I will go ahead of you to Galilee.” 33But Peter replied to Him, “Even if they all 6fall away because of You, I will never fall away!” 34Jesus said to him, “7Truly I say to you that 8this very night, before a rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” 35Peter said to Him, “9Even if I have to die with You, I will not deny You!” All the disciples said the same thing as well.
