Mark 1:1-4
1The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, 1the Son of God,
22just as it is written in Isaiah the prophet: “3Behold, I am sending My messenger 4before You, Who will prepare Your way;35The voice of one calling 6out in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way of the Lord, Make His paths straight!’” 4John the Baptist appeared in the wilderness, 78preaching a baptism of repentance for the 9forgiveness of sins.
