Luke 22:31-38

31“Simon, Simon, behold, 1Satan has 2demanded to 3sift you men like wheat; 32but I 4have prayed for 5you, that 6your faith will not fail; and 7you, when you have 8turned back, 9strengthen your brothers.” 3310But he said to Him, “Lord, I am ready to go with You both to prison and to death!” 34But He said, “I tell you, Peter, the rooster will not crow today until you have denied three times that you know Me.”

35And He said to them, “11When I sent you out without money belt and bag and sandals, you did not lack anything, did you?” They said, “No, nothing.” 36And He said to them, “But now, 12whoever has a money belt is to take it along, likewise also a bag, and 13whoever has no sword is to sell his 14cloak and buy one. 37For I tell you that this which is written must be fulfilled in Me: ‘15And He was counted with wrongdoers’; for 16that which refers to Me has its 17fulfillment.” 38They said, “Lord, look, here are two 18swords.” And He said to them, “It is enough.”
