Lamentations 1:9-11
9Her 1uncleanness was in her garment’s seams; She 2did not think of her 3future. So she has 45fallen in an astonishing way; 6She has no comforter. “7See, Lord, my affliction, For the enemy has 89honored himself!”10The adversary has stretched out his hand Over all her precious things, For she has seen the 10nations enter her sanctuary, The ones whom You commanded That they were 11not to enter Your congregation.11All her people groan, 12seeking bread; They have given their treasures for food To 13restore their 14lives. “See, Lord, and look, For I am 15despised.”
