Lamentations 1:9-11

9Her 1uncleanness was in her skirts; She 2did not consider her 3future. Therefore she has 45fallen astonishingly; 6She has no comforter. “7See, O Lord, my affliction, For the enemy has 8magnified himself!”10The adversary has stretched out his hand Over all her precious things, For she has seen the 9nations enter her sanctuary, The ones whom You commanded That they should 10not enter into Your congregation.11All her people groan 11seeking bread; They have given their precious things for food To 12restore their 13lives themselves. “See, O Lord, and look, For I am 14despised.”
