John 8:28-32
28So Jesus said, “When you 1lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that 23I am, and 4I do nothing 5on My own, but I say these things as the Father instructed Me. 29And He who sent Me is with Me; 6He 7has not left Me alone, for 8I always do the things that are pleasing to Him.” 30As He said these things, 9many came to believe in Him.
31So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “10If you continue in My word, then you are truly My 11disciples; 32and 12you will know the truth, and 13the truth will set you free.”
