John 6:24-29

24So when the crowd saw that Jesus was not there, nor His disciples, they themselves got into the small boats and 1came to Capernaum, looking for Jesus. 25And when they found Him on the other side of the sea, they said to Him, “2Rabbi, when did You get here?”

26Jesus answered them and said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you 3seek Me, not because you saw 45signs, but because you ate some of the loaves and were filled. 27Do not 6work for the food that perishes, but for the food that lasts for 7eternal life, which 8the Son of Man will give you, for on Him the Father, God, 9has set His 10seal.” 28Therefore they said to Him, “What are we to do, so that we may accomplish the works of God?” 29Jesus answered and said to them, “This is 11the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He 12has sent.”
