John 5:32-36

32There is 1another who testifies about Me, and I know that the testimony which He gives about Me is true.

33You have sent messengers to John, and he 2has testified to the truth.

34But 3the testimony I receive is not from man, but I say these things so that you may be saved.

35He was 4the lamp that was burning and shining, and you 5were willing to rejoice for 6a while in his light.

36But the testimony I have is greater than the testimony of John; for 7the works which the Father has given Me 8to accomplish--the very works that I do--testify about Me, that the Father 9has sent Me.
