John 5:31-35

“1If I alone testify about Myself, My testimony is not 2true.

There is 3another who testifies about Me, and I know that the testimony which He gives about Me is true.

You have sent messengers to John, and he 4has testified to the truth.

But 5the testimony I receive is not from man, but I say these things so that you may be saved.

He was 6the lamp that was burning and shining, and you 7were willing to rejoice for 8a while in his light.
