John 4:19-24
19The woman said to Him, “1Sir, I perceive that You are 2a prophet.
203Our fathers worshiped on 4this mountain, and yet you Jews say that 5in Jerusalem is the place where one must worship.”
21Jesus said to her, “Believe Me, woman, that 67a time is coming when you will worship the Father 8neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.
229You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, because 10salvation is from the Jews.
23But 1112a time is coming, and 13even now has arrived, when the true worshipers will worship the Father 14in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be 15His worshipers.
24God is 16spirit, and those who worship Him must worship 17in spirit and truth.”
