John 2:12-17

12After this He went down to 1Capernaum, He and His 2mother, and His 3brothers and His 4disciples; and they stayed there a few days.

135The Passover of the Jews was near, and Jesus 6went up to Jerusalem. 147And within the temple grounds He found those who were selling oxen, sheep, and doves, and the money changers seated at their tables. 15And He made a whip of 8cords, and drove them all out of the temple area, with the sheep and the oxen; and He poured out the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables; 16and to those who were selling 9the doves He said, “Take these things away from here; stop making 10My Father’s house a 11place of business!” 17His 12disciples remembered that it was written: “13Zeal for Your house will consume me.”
