John 17:7-20

7Now they have come to know that everything which You have given Me is from You; 8for 1the words which You gave Me 2I have given to them; and they received them and truly understood that 3I came forth from You, and they believed that 4You sent Me. 95I ask on their behalf; 6I do not ask on behalf of the world, but on the behalf of those whom 7You have given Me, because 8they are Yours; 10and 9all things that are Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine; and I have been glorified in them. 11I am no longer going to be in the world; and yet 10they themselves are in the world, and 11I am coming to You. 12Holy Father, keep them in Your name, the name 13which You have given Me, so that 14they may be one just as We are. 12While I was with them, I was keeping them in Your name, 15which You have given Me; and I guarded them, and 16not one of them perished except 17the 18son of destruction, so that the 19Scripture would be fulfilled. 13But now 20I am coming to You; and 21these things I speak in the world so that they may have My 22joy made full in themselves. 14I have given them Your word; and 23the world has hated them because 24they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 15I am not asking You to take them out of the world, but to keep them away from 2526the evil one. 1627They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 1728Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth. 18Just as 29You sent Me into the world, 30I also sent them into the world. 19And for their sakes I 31sanctify Myself, so that they themselves also may be 32sanctified 33in truth.
