John 17:11-26

11I am no longer going to be in the world; and yet 1they themselves are in the world, and 2I am coming to You. 3Holy Father, keep them in Your name, the name 4which You have given Me, so that 5they may be one just as We are. 12While I was with them, I was keeping them in Your name, 6which You have given Me; and I guarded them, and 7not one of them perished except 8the 9son of destruction, so that the 10Scripture would be fulfilled. 13But now 11I am coming to You; and 12these things I speak in the world so that they may have My 13joy made full in themselves. 14I have given them Your word; and 14the world has hated them because 15they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 15I am not asking You to take them out of the world, but to keep them away from 16 17the evil one. 16 18They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 17 19Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth. 18Just as 20You sent Me into the world, 21I also sent them into the world. 19And for their sakes I 22sanctify Myself, so that they themselves also may be 23sanctified 24in truth.

20“I am not asking on behalf of these alone, but also for those who believe in Me through their word, 21that they may all be one; 25just as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, 26so that the world may 27believe that 28You sent Me. 22The 29glory which You have given Me I also have given to them, so that they may be one, just as We are one; 23 30I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected 31in unity, so that the world may 32know that 33You sent Me, and You 34loved them, just as You loved Me. 24Father, I desire that 35they also, whom You have given Me, 36be with Me where I am, so that they may see My 37glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before 38the foundation of the world.

25“39Righteous Father, 40although 41the world has not known You, yet I have known You; and these have known that 42You sent Me; 26and 43I have made Your name known to them, and will make it known, so that 44the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”
